After the very high tide yesterday evening, water is flowing back from lower parts into the Waddensea at low tide. The Sea gives, but also takes. Parts of the defending dunes washed away with yesterday’s high tide. @terschelling #terschelling #Schylge #Wierschuur #Westaanzee
Holiday to Schylge (Isle of Terschelling) this evening almost full Moon, with windforce 9 Bfr and high tide +2,6 meter gives water in the streets and parking.

Yesterday I drove to Den Helder to visit the Atlantic Wall Centre but found a closed door. Due to circumstances it’s staying closed till Easter 2027. The weather was great and the ride also. So I drove over to the dyke at Huisduinen to watch te Northsee.
Afgelopen zondag met onze dochter Merel mee naar de Streker Oerbos Survival Run in Grootebroek georganiseerd door de Streker Atletiek Vereniging.
