A inspiration to so many trans people and their families, and a source of education for countless would-be allies,
@RowanJetteKnox is a perfect guest to speak about how Canada’s attitude toward trans people has changed in recent years.

We’re at the Flourishing Children & Youth Program Fair at UVIC’s Student Union Building, in the Michèle Pujol Room!
This is why we remind BC politicians, twice a year, that they need to be consulting gender diverse people.
Too many MLAs don’t even know a trans person. How can we expect them to implement good legislation if they don’t considering how it might affect their diverse constituents?
Even the @bcndp may have thrown trans people under the bus.
They implemented legislation giving government far more direct control over our medical systems. While the NDP’s intentions may seem altruistic, this creates potential for government overreach.

If you want to see the hate @Conservative_BC is stirring up, you need look no further than my comment section.
If you want to actually make sports more fair, address the only evidence on the subject, which indicates trans people are at a disadvantage:

After years of participating in Trans Day of Visibility initiatives, notice how @voteBCUnited was suddenly absent from TDOV initiatives this year.
They’re so desperate for support they’re allowing @Conservative_BC to drag them toward alt-right.

Fuck you, @Conservative_BC 🖕
Trans people competing in sports is a non-issue. You are stirring up hate against trans people for political gain, and that’s sick.
NEW - The BC Conservatives have introduced legislation to restrict trans gender female athletes to participate against women in publicly funded sports in the province. #bcpoli

BC Conservatives are fueling hate & division in the lead-up to this Fall’s provincial election.
The @BCGreens & @bcndp are standing up to this hate by supporting human rights.
