Casa Ole is my favorite. Pearland doesn't have the buffet though. I miss the one in Alvin. It closed during covid. I probably spent thousands of dollars at those Mexican buffets.

Val Verde Sheriff Joe Frank Martinez’s statement:
The endorsement of Webb County Sheriff Martin Ceullar has been removed from @GregAbbott_TX's campaign website.
Sheriff Ceullar, the brother of U.S. Rep. Henry Ceullar (D-Laredo), was indicted by the DOJ earlier this year for allegedly defrauding his office during COVID-19.

Today is the first time I’ve voted for a democrat in well over a decade. It feels strange. So much of my identity was centered around being a republican. Some of the Republican candidates pissed me off so badly that I would have voted for the devil over them. Sorry republicans… party loyalty can only go so far. All politicians need to be accountable to their constituents. They are public servants and should respect that . If you have to vote across enemy lines in order to keep public servants accountable then do so.
