Boros. Its HTTP, Vault, SQL and gRPC clients trust only the roots bundled in the binary, not the OS store. Those are now past the fix: rustls-webpki 0.103.16 and webpki-roots 1.0.10, pinned in a newly committed lockfile.

And Pallas? No release needed. None of its crates pulls in a TLS client, and as a library it ships no lockfile. Apps built on Pallas resolve their own TLS stack and pick up the fix through their own lockfile.

Indigo has just completed a patch upgrade fixing a vulnerability discovered by @txpipe_tools 🔮 Security on Indigo is an ongoing and mission-critical joint effort with TxPipe: • TxPipe runs regular AI-aided threat analyses of the protocol alongside the Indigo Foundation • A recent review uncovered a vulnerability that we determined as needing a priority patch • INDY DAO approved the upgrade, and has since been autonomously upgraded on-chain • User funds were never at risk between the time of the alert & the completion of the upgrade This is Indigo's first upgrade in response to a security finding. Thanks to the TxPipe team for their work and continued support!

In a previous life, I was a scientist. I did my PhD in tumor immunology, researching new approaches to cancer detection using molecular immunology. Sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value... these were part of my everyday vocabulary. Fast forward many years, and somehow I find myself discussing those exact same concepts again. This time, with the research team we created at TxPipe to study how AI can be used in security audits. Controlled studies. Well-designed experiments. Measuring what actually works instead of relying on intuition or hype. Funny how things come full circle. And a fun fact: many, many years ago, @santicarmuega and I actually built software to manage this exact kind of study. Life has a strange way of connecting the dots. 🧬 → 🤖
