Today my weekly Claude usage unexpectedly dropped to around a tenth of what it was yesterday. Searching X to see if others have the same experience I came across this post, maybe anthropic is adapting the limits to what they promised all along?
actually someone literally sued Anthropic over this in June. the lawsuit claims that Claude Max’s usage limit marketing is misleading
based on Anthropic’s own weekly estimates in the lawsuit:
5x plan: ~3.5x Pro weekly
20x plan: ~6x Pro weekly
you pay 2x: get ~1.7x more weekly usage
and this is before Fable.
the lawsuit claims Anthropic sells “5x / 20x more usage” but the weekly limits aren’t meaningfully explained in the purchase flow.
*the case is still ongoing so these are allegations, not a court finding yet.

The core difference: RAG retrieves *text* for the LLM to read; this computes *answers* the LLM only interprets.
In RAG, you embed chunks, do similarity search, and stuff the top-k passages into context — the LLM then synthesizes something plausible from what happened to be retrieved. That fundamentally can't answer aggregate questions: no amount of chunk retrieval gets you "you slept longer than 78% of nights," [github](github.com/Retinue-OS/retinu…) because that needs the full distribution at query time, and pasting a year of five-minute CGM readings into a prompt [github](github.com/Retinue-OS/retinu…) isn't retrieval, it's a haystack. Here the agent writes SPARQL, and the store does exact joins, GROUP BY, and counts over years of observations — the store does the aggregation, the agent does the reasoning [github](github.com/Retinue-OS/retinu…) . The result is deterministic and can't hallucinate.
The second difference is the semantic layer. RAG retrieval is fuzzy over unstructured text; here everything is normalized into shared vocabularies (SOSA, LOINC, SNOMED), so a glucose reading from a CGM, a sleep score from a ring, and a step count from a watch are all the same shape and join without negotiation. Plus provenance is structural: each file's triples land in a named graph derived from the file's path, rather than chunk metadata bolted on. The doc's own summary is apt: grep gets you text, SPARQL gets you joins — and RAG is essentially fuzzy grep.
They're complementary, though: this architecture deliberately leaves the prose bodies of notes unstructured, and answering questions *about prose* is exactly where RAG-style retrieval still fits. Structured facts → SPARQL; narrative text → retrieval.
Die Lücke ist in der Schweiz grösser als in Deutschland. In Deutschland gibt’s ein explizites Anzeigen- und Werbeverbot im Adoptionsvermittlungsgesetz (§ 13d AdVermiG). Es ist verboten, Ersatzmütter oder Bestelleltern öffentlich zu suchen oder anzubieten – auch für Leihmutterschaft im Ausland. Das ist eine Ordnungswidrigkeit mit Busse. In der Schweiz hingegen verbietet Art. 31 FMedG nur das Vermitteln von Leihmutterschaften und das Durchführen des Verfahrens. Reines Bewerben oder Werbung dafür, besonders für Angebote im Ausland, ist nicht ausdrücklich verboten. Da fehlt die klare Regelung, die Deutschland hat.Deshalb kann man xin der Schweiz eher ungestraft für ausländische Leihmutterschaft werben als in Deutschland.
Herr Spahn verteidigt sein Vaterwerden mittels Leihmutterschaft, mit der Erklärung, es sei in Deutschland nicht verboten, Eltern durch Leihmutterschaft zu werden. Es sei auch nicht verboten, Leihmutter zu sein. Es seien lediglich die Vermittlung und ärztliche Dienstleistungen verboten. Damit sei Leihmutterschaft zwar faktisch in Deutschland nicht möglich, verboten aber sei es nicht.
Was folgt daraus?
Die Rechtslücke muss geschlossen werden.
A) Die trotz des in Deutschland geltenden Verbots stattfindende Werbung für Leihmutterschaft und Anbahnung (z. B. auf Messen wie "Wish for a Baby" oder "Men Having Babies") müssen unterbunden und Verantwortliche müssen strafrechtlich verfolgt werden.
B) Auch Bestelleltern müssen strafrechtlich berücksichtigt werden.
C) Dem Beispiel Italiens folgend muss Leihmutterschaft als Universaldelikt betrachtet werden und Verstöße von Deutschen im Ausland bei uns geahndet werden.

Auch die heterosexuelle Schauspielerin Amber Heard hat sich per Leihmutterschaft ein Kind gekauft. Sie ist nicht die einzige weibliche Celebrity, die das tat.
Die Homophobie-Keule ist daher komplett unwirksam. Es geht hier auch nicht um eine sog. "toxische Männlichkeit", die den Frauenkörper als Ware wahrnimmt.
Die Leihmutterschaft ist praktisch in jedem europäischen Land verboten und die entsprechende Praxis dürfte von der überwiegenden Mehrheit von Europäern abgelehnt werden.
Wenn man dieses Verbot wirksam durchsetzen will, sollte die Leihmutterschaft, die im Ausland in Anspruch genommen wurde, im Inland bestraft werden. Genau diesen Weg ist Italien im Jahr 2024 gegangen.

Before judging the Swiss electorate too harshly, please consider:
- The vote was about capping the total population, not about foreigners.
- A population limit can be achieved either by limiting immigration or by promoting emigration.
- The new provision does endanger the bilateral treaty on the free movement of persons. But since the EU started sanctioning Swiss citizens, freedom of movement no longer applies to everyone anyway. @Nath_Yamb is not even allowed to cross EU airspace to fly home.
- There was a united front against this popular initiative, but hardly any constructive dialogue. No counter-vision was ever presented.

Es könnte am Mond liegen, heisst es immer wieder mal, wenn ich mich über schlechten Schlaf beklage. Jetzt habe ich Claude gebeten, sich meine Daten anzuschauen.
Nach ein paar SPARQL Queries und der Berechnung der Mondphasen, kommt Claude zum Schluss, dass es keine relevante Korrelation gibt.
Schlafdauer:
Pearson-Korrelation: r = −0.045 — praktisch null. Die Unterschiede zwischen den Phasen liegen bei maximal 23 Minuten (zwischen zunehmend Crescent und zunehmendem Gibbous), und das Muster ist nicht zyklisch-konsistent.
Schlafeffizienz:
Pearson r = 0.034 — kein Zusammenhang. Die Unterschiede zwischen den Phasen liegen alle unter 2 Prozentpunkten, ohne konsistentes Muster. Neumond und Vollmond unterscheiden sich kaum (82.1% vs. 82.7%).
Weder Schlafdauer noch Schlafeffizienz zeigen in betrachteten 420 Nächten einen Zusammenhang mit der Mondphase.
Die p-Werte Beträgen 0.35 und 0.48, somit besteht keinen signifikanten Zusammenhang zwischen den Mondphasen und meinem Schlaf.
