What do you think about prices being shown without tax? For me, it's like a bad lottery getting to the checkout and being hit with a sales tax on top of the price your brain agreed to pay🧐Even crazier, sales taxes vary by state in the #USA from 0 to 8% what a rollercoaster!🤯
It makes #budgeting harder, especially for people who struggle with numbers.
#TiP Round up prices to the nearest 10 then round tax to 10%.So if the price is $97, round to $100 and round to $10 for tax so plan to pay $110 an overestimation of up to $13 better than underestimating.
Savvy shopper #alert there's usually a back-to-school sales tax holiday on most items, including clothes & computers. You can time your shopping to coincide with the tax break in the state you are visiting.
