having loyalty towards one constructors is becoming a lost form of art among the newer wave of f1 fans

Today, once again, Max proved that he is a slight step ahead of the likes of Nor, Ant, Lec, and Ham at the moment. It’s not even about pace, because at the end of the day, the elite guys are neck and neck speed wise regardless. It’s his ability to always be there when he needs to capitalize. Like today, I think you could argue all of the top guys were thereabouts pace wise (I think Ferrari was probably fastest), but regardless, in those situations where it is so even, it seems he still has that edge over the others

Andrea Stella on the difficulties of driving the MCL40, and whether it's something that can be improved with the upcoming upgrades:
"Well, the fact is that the car needs quite a lot of effort to deliver lap time, and it requires a level of intensity in the driving input that is much superior to last year. This is something that took some time for the drivers to get comfortable - well, comfortable is wrong- but to understand, and it's also one of the reasons why Oscar, at some stage, almost lost some of the competitiveness compared to Lando, and we were here discussing (with the media) like what is happening with Oscar. And I've always said that there was a technical matter. Oscar just needed to understand how to force the car to do some things and sort of abandon the fact that driving fast will not necessarily mean driving clean, if that makes sense, which instead is probably the signature of Oscar when we have seen him fast in the past: he was clean, he had really good data to see, he was very repeatable, and he was fast. With this car, all these things together, they don't seem to happen very often, so it's a lot of work for the drivers.
I don't expect that what's coming to the car will improve this characteristic. I think we need something more fundamental than simply adding some downforce to the car, like it's happening in the coming races, without fundamentally changing some further aspect, which we are addressing longer term, and at the earliest I would say with the MCL41 for 2027."

Everyone with the fake outrage towards Lando going for a gap
Shooters shoot
Doesn’t always work out, shit happens, whatever
i fear the guy who brought the ONLY 3 poles and 2 wins of the season, scored more pts for the wcc despite being strategically screwed, having slow asf pitstops, missing fp sessions, AND suffering 3 dnfs/dns through absolutely no fault of his own should be the LAST person to blame

lando getting publicly executed just for being the most entertaining driver on the grid #bazalright
