A4-School safety should be one of the main focuses for a principal. Physical as well as mental/emotional safety. School should feel safe for all individuals and principal can create that culture and promote within students and staff. #msum640

We want them physically safe but we’ve definitely learned the importance of mental/emotional health. Really puts our roles into perspective when you see a kid struggle and you can’t be there in person to guide them through. #msum640

A3-Principal is the leader of the school and has a major impact on culture. Leaders need to focus on developing the whole individual when making decisions and determining what is best for the school. #msum640

A2-School leaders need to be well rounded and be involved in all aspects of the school. They need to be able to cope with different situations, potentially in different ways. School leaders need to be able to shift focus to give their full effort regardless. #msum640
