Bob Dean UK Lecture: NATO's “Cosmic Top Secret” Study, Alien-Human Hybrids & the Coming Disclosure
Recorded in 1996 in Leeds, England, this lecture features Robert “Bob” Dean, a retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major who served 27 years in the U.S. Army, including a posting at NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) near Paris from 1963 to 1967. He said he held Cosmic Top Secret clearance, NATO’s highest classification, and stated that he was violating his national security oath by speaking publicly about what he knew.
Dean’s central claim is that while at SHAPE, he read a classified study commissioned around 1961 after unidentified objects over Central Europe nearly triggered a superpower confrontation. He said the study found no military threat to NATO, but concluded that Earth was under long-term surveillance by several extraterrestrial civilizations with technology far beyond human capability, and that governments had hidden this for decades, judging the public unready. He claimed the military had tracked at least four distinct extraterrestrial groups by the 1960s, growing to a dozen or more by the 1970s, including one type he said was physically indistinguishable from humans.
Dean then went further, arguing that humanity is a genetically engineered hybrid species continuously shaped by extraterrestrial intelligences, that this contact is the true origin of the world’s major religions, and that Jesus of Nazareth was part of that program. He shows slides of UFO photographs, ancient artifacts, and centuries-old religious paintings that he interprets as depicting alien aircraft and beings. He warns of difficult times ahead, including geological upheaval, famine, and war, but predicts that coming disclosure will ultimately upend governments and religions, forcing humanity to unite as one people to survive it.
Dean spoke at conferences across the U.S. and UK through the 1990s and 2000s until his death in Tucson, Arizona, on October 11, 2018.
