British PM says that the children on school strike are “wasting lesson time”. That may well be the case. But then again, political leaders have wasted 30 yrs of inaction. And
that is slightly worse.

We had a great day today volunteering with @CanalRiverTrust who are working to make the canals and surrounding areas in Birmingham greener. Once finished this bench will be full of flowers!
"More than 40% of insect species are declining and a third are endangered, the analysis found. The rate of extinction is eight times faster than that of mammals, birds and reptiles." Horrific news, Insects are essential for the ecostystem and without them humanity is doomed.

We have collected 50 bras as part of our UCBra Collection, which will now be sent off to the charity Smalls for All who will then distribute them to women in Africa! This is a great way to avoid sending perfectly good bras to landfill when you’re done with them! #ecofriendly – at Birmingham, England

Good news! England will plant 50 mill trees. To make cities greener. To fight climate change. To create woodlands where people can go for a walk. Great if other nations get inspired!

In 2019, let's give bumblebees a fighting chance by providing wildflowers in our gardens, communities, towns and countryside! The biggest threat to the survival of these beautiful pollinators is loss of flower-rich habitat, with 97% of UK meadows lost in recent decades.

And we're still considering a new M4 in Wales?
By the time the full impacts of climate change (worse health, more flooding, drought, fire & extinction) kick in it'll be far too late to act. Remember that @IPCC_CH #12YearWarning?
