Dr Smith is a BASICS doctor with @YorksAmbulance and holds the Fellowship in Immediate Medical Care from the @RCSEd . He is an examiner for Dip IMC and FIMC, Educational Chair for the Yorkshire Branch of the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care, and Course Director for the FPHC Crowd Doctors Course.
Dr Smith is also a recognised leader in sports and exercise medicine, serving as Field of Play Clinical/Immediate Care Lead at Twickenham Stadium, Clinical Governance Advisor to Premiership Rugby, and Technical Director and Senior Medical Educator for World Rugby's Immediate Care in Rugby programme.
