The trouble with delivery aggregators like @JustEatUK is if there’s a problem you’ve no idea if they’ll get back to you quickly or just leave you starving. Have a live chat option!

.@TheBARPod afterparty a good chance to demonstrate that there is no faster drinker than a man with a babysitter racking up an hourly rate.

Things I’ve long believed likely will happen but rebadged: HS2, Customs Union, EU Mobility Scheme.
In other words bring back something that does the main job of HS2 but ditches the branding which is now toxically associated in the public mind with overspending and failure

I cannot stress this enough. The Russians besieged, bombarded & starved Aleppo, and all the international community did was plead with Russia via the UNSC to allow an aid convoy in. One aid convoy. Russia agreed. Then they bombed the UN aid convoy. teapawt.org/EliotHiggins/status/18…
If there's one thing to understand with Russia, unless there's true consequences to their terrible actions, you can be sure they'll do it again and again, and get worse and worse.

Your reminder that Raab stayed on holiday while Kabul fell to the Taliban
Virtually every military intervention we’ve carried out has happened at night, partly to keep our servicemen & women safe. The British people will wonder who would be standing in for Starmer between 6pm & 9am – Angela Rayner, David Lammy, Ed Miliband? Defending Britain's security isn't a daylight hours only job. teapawt.org/iainmartin1/status/180…

It's crazy how many mainstream journalists are apparently perfectly fine with the mass disclosure of the medical records of vulnerable people; which is just one of the things Julian Assange and Wikileaks did, unapologetically.
Delighted Julian Assange is free, though he has served 5 years under often unpleasant conditions for doing what journalists do every day. Great praise to his wife Stella and their legal team. But the US Dept of Justice still holds the Espionage Act over journalists worldwide.

Farage a Putin simp? Shocked, shocked I tell you.
I am one of the few figures that have been consistent & honest about the war with Russia. Putin was wrong to invade a sovereign nation, and the EU was wrong to expand eastward. The sooner we realise this, the closer we will be to ending the war and delivering peace.

British politics is four years of people asking 'why don't we have the vision to make difficult decisions in this country?' Then six weeks of demanding that political parties rule out making any difficult decisions.

There is an increasing “revenge of the centrist dad” vibe to this general election campaign and I am totally here for that.

5. We sympathise with the struggles faced by organisers of literary festivals when it comes to accessing funding, however we disagree that the blame for EIBF’s funding situation lies with us.

If nothing else, calling a meeting for 4pm shows what a total prick of a boss Rishi Sunak is.

There's a statue of him at Chapel Allerton Hospital in Leeds that needs to be pulled down like a 2003-era Saddam effigy
