Leaks from inside the London branch of China’s largest state-owned bank open a Pandora’s box of long-ignored regulatory questions. Can Britain adequately regulate entities controlled by the CCP?
"There can be no doubt that the Chinese Communist Party leadership agreed at the highest levels to abuse its Belt & Road initiative to corrupt and compromise political leaders in order to gain influence over target countries and achieve strategic objectives."
The rally was promoted by means of an article in the Morning Star entitled “Stop racism! Stop anti-Asian hate!”, penned by Dr Ping Hua 华萍, a scientist at the university of Southampton.
The article conflated criticism of the CCP with racism.
Also involved in the fracas in 2021 was Chi Tan Huynh, a people smuggler convicted in 2019 in connection to a scheme to bring migrants into Kent by dinghy.
Here he is, in the back row, when Xi Jinping visited London in 2015.
Xi was pictured with the Chinese embassy's clique of approved members of the Chinese diaspora. Also in shot are alleged underworld boss To Ming Lam, Christine Lee (named by MI5 in 2022), and others.
Zhang is a well-known figure in London's Chinatown. Here he is at the ambassador’s high table at a United Front event celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China in London in 2019.
One individual involved was Feng Zhang, pictured in the background here, and punching a Hongkonger in the head in broad daylight.
UKCT has seen no evidence he was prosecuted, although details were shared with @metpoliceuk
Nearly 5 years ago, in London, a far-left group organised an "anti-racism" rally with the support of bodies linked to Beijing's United Front influence network.
It turned into a brawl that pitted CCP allies, a 'triad', and a convicted people-smuggler against democracy activists.

- Meetings with the Northern Irish police, sensitive because of cross-border issues and Chinese organised crime; there is evidence of Chinese gangs working with IRA criminal splinter groups
