Prompt: Home Alone. But as the opening credits of White Lotus season two. #MadeWithRunway
we mean everywhere when we say runway everywhere
Today, Runway is joining Claude Marketplace.
Enterprise teams already working with @claudeai can now put part of their Anthropic commitment toward Runway Creative, bringing video, image and audio generation into the same budget. Learn more at the link below.

Say hello to labs.runway.com
A frontier research design studio building prototypes, applications and new media projects with generative video and world models.

Agents can now show their reasoning, not just describe it.
Visual Thinking is a new research harness that turns an agent's work into real-time video, so every step is visible and easier to follow, check and trust.

We don’t need to scream.
We don’t need to cross lines.
We don’t need to sell our soul.
We just want to build something worth using.
Make things to make more things to make things.
The Runway Weekly Challenge is here.
175,000 credits in prizes. A new creative brief every week, seven days to create and submit, with winners chosen by the community.

Runway has been on a tear over the past couple months.

Solaris: the world's first Interface World Model
Praxis-1: open-weight World Action Model for robotics
Project Continuum: operating system research application built around real-time interfaces
A video model. An interface model. A robotics model. An operating system. Are you getting it? These are not separate pretrains. They’re different applications, built around the same General World Model backbone, with different post-training on top.
All of them are examples of what you can do when you can simulate any pixel.
So I asked co-CEO Anastasis Germanidis to co-write an essay with me explaining how video, interfaces, operating systems, and robotics all fit together, why video was the right starting point for World Models, where the world is heading if Runway’s bets are right, and whether or not, as someone who simulates worlds, he believes we’re living in a simulation.
Welcome to the future. Enjoy!

60 Minutes created an AI version of correspondent @jon_wertheim to show how far the technology has come. But executive producer @nickbilton tells the audience not to expect to see anything else AI-generated on the broadcast.
2020: put together a brand strategy deck with @c_valenzuelab defining who runway is and what we were setting out to do.
2026 offsite: reuse a lot of those same slides in a company-wide brand presentation because the mission is the same and the world is just catching up. Excited to see how the new slides in this deck will define the next 6 years.

Left: Our first offsite in 2019. We rented a five-bedroom Airbnb in upstate New York.
Right: Our current offsite this week. We rented a castle in upstate New York.
Last night’s opening of @60Minutes was entirely generated with @runwayml. Here’s a bit of the behind-the-scenes about how we did it. And what the future of this technology really means for work, creativity and giving more people the chance to tell their stories.

How fashion brands can use Runway Dev, from the first sketch to the final campaign.
Render a sketch as a real garment, explore colorways and patterns, generate e-commerce product shots and create on-model photos and videos in the studio or on location.

Runway's conference got drowned in the factory cognition drama so I don't think many people noticed but
Runway, who is mostly known as a video gen AI lab, is leveraging their world model research to solve one of the biggest bottlenecks in robotics: training data.
Robots normally need thousands of hours of demos recorded on the actual robot, with someone driving it through the same task over and over. Praxis-1 is a robot brain that learns how the physical world works from regular videos of humans doing stuff, using the same research behind Runway's world models. So with praxis-1 robotics companies would only needs a few minutes of demos on their own robot to get it working
This feels like one of those things that feels kind of random now but ends up being very consequential in the next 18 months
Runway Head of Robotics Andy Chen laid out Runway's unique approach to robotics, ending with the premiere of our open-weight world action model, Praxis-1.
