I have been suspended from Cornell University alongside three others for my presence in our encampment. Cornell thinks that picking off four students will be sufficient to destroy our movement. They’re wrong — all they have done is enraged our community.

It is so, so refreshing to hear a democrat point out clearly that there is nothing popular, appealing or american about christian nationalism. It’s really that easy to refuse to bend to these motherfuckers without alienating the masses, who do not in fact want an ethnostate

here’s a photo of both “definitely the midwest” and “definitely not the midwest” (cincy/kentucky). borders are an oppressive construct that don’t explain anything. buffalo and pittsburgh have midwestern vibes and are distinct from the big states they’re a part of

As “Winnie-the-Pooh” turns 100, Britain is renewing calls for the original stuffed bear and his friends to return from the New York Public Library.
The library has resisted requests, citing the toys’ age and popularity. Oh, bother! wapo.st/4im74oZ
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Winnie-the-Pooh toys were sent to the US in 1947 with permission from A.A. Milne and Christopher Robin and donated to the New York Public Library in 1987 by the publisher. They were never in any British museum and Britain has no legal claim.

When we got suspended from Cornell for our peaceful, anti-genocide encampment, Cornell admin threatened to attach a permanent notice to our transcripts about the suspensions. Cornell chose to protect this rapist, and chose not to notify or warn NSU about him.
New: One of the Cornell students accused of gang rape transferred to a Florida university.
The university says it was unaware of the allegations when it admitted him, raising questions about what disciplinary info follows students between colleges.

This just brings Cornell into compliance with a local law passed last week. This administration is embracing the same task forces, education initiatives, and half-measures that failed Jane Doe in 2024.
Ban the frats. Fire Kotlikoff, Liang, and other responsible leaders.

This is the equivalent of a cultural genocide. The O’odham people view saguaros as embodied ancestors. DHS is plowing down thousands of them to build a border wall on sovereign O’odham land.

Two federal agents are going door to door near the crime scene “trying to get evidence.” Darializa Avila Chevalier and state Sen. Gustavo Rivera are following them to tell people they don’t have to answer or speak with the agents.

Oh, I thought they were saying, "Ban the FACTS!" But you're saying it was "Ban the FRATS!"
