🚨 Bruno Fernandes when asked if he has a message for the players and fans after last night's defeat to Como:: “To the team there is not much to say. It’s not the moment to talk much in the locker room because the results are not appearing. “We can not do what we expect and work for in games. “To our fans i apologise because i know how much they support and believe in the club. I believe it to be one of the most difficult moments for the club. “Now is the moment for us to understand what we can do better on the pitch and only that.” [@LiveModeTV_PT]

🚨 Lisandro Martínez has released a statement on Instagram following his post-match comments yesterday: “Following everything that has been said about my comments yesterday, I want to share some thoughts on what I said and how I feel. After the match, I spoke out of anger and frustration at not getting the result we all wanted. Those who know me know how I live football, with passion, commitment and a huge desire to win. And when things don’t go our way, it hurts, especially when representing a club with the history and stature of Manchester United. My words reflect how I feel and how much I want to see this club competing for the biggest honours. Those high standards are part of how I see football and the responsibility that comes with wearing this shirt. When I talk about wanting more, I’m talking about the ambition we must all have as part of this club. To keep growing, to become stronger and to have everything we need to compete at the highest level. These are standards we must all hold ourselves to, starting with me. I know that, first and foremost, it’s us, the players, who have to deliver, and I put myself at the front of that responsibility. We need to demand even more of ourselves and work together to take Manchester United back to the top. I believe in my teammates, our manager and everyone working to help this club move forward. I’m convinced that the way forward is to keep working together, with ambition and commitment. My goal has been the same since day one, to win, to compete at the highest level and to give everything I have for this badge.” #MUFC

🚨 Manchester United’s next five fixtures 🔴 How many wins? 🤔

🚨 Fred says Erik ten Hag’s issue with Cristiano Ronaldo was simple: he was not running, so he did not play him. He says the squad did not mind running for Ronaldo, because he was older. He says that after the 2-1 win at Fulham, the squad were told on the plane home that Ronaldo was leaving. Fred describes the moment they landed, phones came off airplane mode, and everyone reacted to the Piers Morgan interview, with the press officers stunned that Ronaldo had said things he should not have said about the club. 🚨 Fred on Solskjær and Ten Hag: “There are some coaches who are 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 tactically but 𝗕𝗔𝗗 with the group, and there are some who are very good with the group but are tactically 𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗣. “For example Solskjær was very good with the group but tactically he had Carrick and McKenna as his assistants - so much so that they went to the Championship and got promoted with their teams so they helped a lot… he was more about uniting the group. “Ten hag was tactically a very good and intelligent guy, but with the group he was crap. He couldn’t manage it man. He would fight with everyone.” [@CharlaPodcast]

🚨 Bruno Fernandes has been managing an issue since United’s 4-0 win over Sabah FK in the Champions League on September 10. He was a serious doubt for the Premier League fixtures against Manchester City and Fulham before passing late fitness tests. Fernandes will remain with the Portugal squad ahead of Thursday’s game against Denmark despite missing their win over Norway through injury. [@RobDawsonESPN]

🚨 Tuchel on not playing Mainoo at the World Cup: “ I expect him to be on the pitch and it’s my duty to put him on the pitch.” “That was totally on me and he didn't put a foot wrong in the World Cup. “He was class in behaviour.” [@England]

🚨 Diogo Dalot on approaching 250 games: “When I sign for the club, I don’t sign thinking in two or three years I will LEAVE... and what drives me, feeds me, what gets me up every single morning is knowing I want to be part of the team that puts Man Utd BACK on top.” [@ESPNUK]
