Hate to break it to the guys at Finamp, but in 2026 this is just straight up no longer a flex. With strict enough conformity docs and better language choices, the app could have been produced (probably with far fewer bugs) in closer to four weeks with Opus or Fable. 🤷‍♂️

Human peer review will soon be straight up irresponsible and will probably eventually be relegated to a mere formality, if performed at all in the end.

Them: ApoB didn't correlate with plaque progression. Us: Wait...that wasn't your preregistered primary outcome. Them: Plaque begets plaque Us: Wait...your study shows LMHRs have historically high plaque progression. Them: The data is wrong because our vendor sucks. Us: Why did you go on a historic marketing campaign and produce a documentary? Them: We retracted our paper. All good. Us : That's not how this works.

Some of you may have noticed that my YouTube content is gone. It's not actually gone, it's just been moved! I recently migrated all my YouTube content to my site, available to members for just $3.99/mo (along with all the other perks). ❤️✌️ uprootnutrition.com

When do collagen supplements actually work for skin (even when calorie and protein matched by % and gram/kg)? When the skin is burned. Why? Most plausibly because a major burn creates an enormous acute requirement for new collagen deposition during the proliferative phase of healing. It's quite possibly the single most taxing type of injury when it comes to increasing collagen synthesis demand. Then suddenly you see everything you want in a collagen trial. Not just statistical significance, but very strong and clinically meaningful effect sizes. And notice how there's no circle jerking around with mechanistic elasticity/hydration proxies masquerading as outcomes, no fake numbers, no misclassification of studies to hide industry funding required. When it comes to burns, none of the bullshit is needed to pretend it works. It just works.

Hey y'all! We're almost at the finish line! After a whole year, and probably ~1K commits and ~200,000 lines of code later, Enaychi (formerly nutriDex) is nearing its V1 release on the Google Play Store! Basically, Enaychi is an all-in-one tracker for nutrition, exercise, medications, biometrics, with support for fitness devices. Features: source.uprootnutrition.com/u… Web-app: enaychi.com But, here's where I could use your help! There's still a lot more to do! I'm planning to integrate a massive nutrition database covering 1.4 million foods and 600+ nutrients/compounds, with the goal of Enaychi basically just deprecating all other trackers over night. I'm also developing this app entirely on my own. AI tools have been invaluable in accelerating development, but the costs just rack up like a motherfucker, and I burn through my current AI subscriptions in a matter of days. This means I spend a shit ton of the development time hand-coding, which takes fucking forever and needlessly keeps the app out of users hands longer. I'm hoping to raise ~$300 for a Claude Max 20 subscription ($600 would be ideal for a couple months worth if needed) to help accelerate development and get these features into your hands sooner. I'm personally committed to funding this project by selling personal possessions, but any community support would make a genuine difference. ❤️ If you believe in what I'm building and can spare a few dollars, I'd be incredibly grateful! ❤️ Support Enaychi: uprootnutrition.com/donate

In the wild: vicious, attacks on sight, rips its prey to shreds, causes immeasurable pain and suffering to others. In captivity: wants belly rubs in his favourite chair. Nature is truly cucked.

This is basically how every macro planner should look. This is a macro planner done sensibly. You can literally do whatever the fuck you want with this. Want protein in g/kg and carbs as a percentage? You got it; made easy with the backfill feature. It's just so based. 👌

This is sad. As much as I get upset at the zealots, I do feel bad for people who get indoctrinated in this bullshit 😕
I regret to inform my community that my debate opponent, CarnivorePolice (aka StormblessedJ), has passed away. Claimed by schizophrenia; according to a family member who reached out, his condition compelled him to eat only ground beef, and he died of nutritional complications. 🕯️

Full support for the Mosquito Genocide.
When I stilled worked on biosecurity, I first learned about Debug, a Google project to reduce mosquito populations. Results from their Singapore pilot are now out. They crushed mosquito populations, reducing dengue infections by 70% in the process:

Went to see the new Resident Evil movie last night. I'd give it 4/10. All four of those points were claimed by the cinematography. Otherwise, fuck that movie, lmfao.

Every take haver on the internet ruminates on GLP1s and the well polished thought product they produce is “wtf how are we supposed to know who to have disdain for now?”

As we know, skinny people all “earned” their body through impeccable self discipline
Here's something interesting about GLP-1 drugs like semaglutide. For the first time, human beings don't have to earn the body they want. Up until now, the body was an honest signal of effort. That's no longer true, and it's worth asking what we lose when it isn't. (1/4)

Human trials on OJ disagree: - Fatty liver: no worsening of liver markers (PMID: 27414418) TG/VLDL: no ↑ TG (PMID: 37008412) Insulin resistance: HOMA-IR ↓ (PMID: 34060162) Uric acid: ↓ despite high OJ intake (PMID: 29571566) Adiposity: no ↑ fat mass/waist (PMID: 34024506)
Don’t drink a daily OJ, please 🙏 A glass has 12-18g fructose equivalents, a most dangerous type of sugar that promotes: * Liver lipogenesis and fatty liver * Higher triglycerides and VLDL * Hepatic insulin resistance * Uric-acid production * Visceral-fat accumulation

Silo season 3 basically lost me. The memory drug is such a dumb plot device. It's like the black goo from Prometheus—it just does whatever is needed to push the plot forward. Need the hero to become retarded? You got it. Need a good guy to become a mass murderer? You got it. 🙄
