A few of you have asked why your key can't reach the Blur API. It's almost always the role. Blur runs on our Data API, and an API key can only do what its role allows. So go to the dashboard, create a role (or edit one you already have) and tick "Use the Data API". Then bind that role to your key. It has to be an API key, since RPC and gRPC keys don't cover Blur. If it still won't connect, reply here or send us a DM and we'll take a look at your setup.

Our archive tier is eating the chain backwards. Solami is backfilling to genesis. Slot 0. The very first block, from back before any of this was a good idea. Every day the retention floor drops further into the past and the archive tier gets fatter and smugger about it. The good part is you can watch it happen. solami.dev/coverage shows which slots each region serves right now, split three ways. Buffer is the live edge still sitting in memory, cache is recent history served fast, archive is everything older down to the retention floor. It refreshes every 15 seconds, so it's less a marketing page and more a progress bar with commitment issues. It shows gaps too. If a region is missing slots, the page says so rather than quietly rounding up. You'd rather know, and so would we. The backfill is still running. Check again tomorrow and it will have reached further back than it has today.
