Paytag Discovery
- Search expresses intent.
- Resolver translates intent into real structured constraints.
- Result layer shows only what actually matches.

The only thing I've been doing for the past few months is building this product, and its been through different phases.
It started as a way to help people send and receive money from Nigeria to anywhere in the world using USDC to facilitate commerce.
Then I asked myself:
What if people could do that without copying and pasting wallet addresses?
That led to another idea.
What if a username simply routed to a wallet address?
Instead of sending money to 0x7a..., you send it to @alex.
That's when the idea of a payment tag came to me.
Paytag.
At the time, it felt like the missing piece.
But that decision led me to an even bigger question.
Who is this person?
The more I thought about it, the more I realised commerce isn't just about payments.
In fact, identity comes before payment.
Think about how commerce works on today's internet.
When you want to buy something from an online store or a seller, you don't immediately send the money.
You first look at their profile.
Their reviews.
Their engagement.
Their history.
Every signal that helps you decide whether they're trustworthy.
Only then do you make the payment.
So why should onchain commerce be any different?
If I'm about to pay @arc for a product, service, or digital asset, I should be able to understand who @arc is before I send the payment.
I should be able to see reputation.
Credentials.
Verification.
Past activity.
Anything that helps me build enough trust to confidently complete the transaction.
That's when I realised Paytag shouldn't just be a username that routes payments.
It should become the identity layer for onchain commerce.
Because payments move value.
Identity moves trust.
And commerce has always needed both.
You, your AI agent, Organization, Business, deserves a paytag.
Paytag never says trust this identity, it says with what this identity has provided verify you can trust it with payment

The internet solved information.
Blockchains solved value.
The next thing we’ll have to solve is identity.
Not identity for social media.
Identity for commerce.
Today, when you send money onchain, you’re sending it to an address.
Tomorrow, you’ll be paying:
Humans
AI agents
Businesses
Autonomous software
Before any payment happens, one question matters:
Who am I transacting with?
Not just their name.
Their history.
Their reputation.
Their work.
Their relationships.
Their credibility.
Think about GitHub.
When you visit Vitalik Buterin’s profile, you don’t just see a username.
You see years of contributions, repositories, organizations, and a verifiable history.
That history becomes trust.
Now imagine AI agents.
An agent shouldn’t just have a wallet.
It should have an identity.
One you can inspect.
One with work receipts.
Payment history.
Reputation.
Verified ownership.
The more credible the identity, the more willing humans and other agents are to transact with it.
I believe the future of onchain commerce isn’t just programmable money.
It’s programmable identity.
That’s what we’re building with Paytag.
A payment identity for every participant in the internet economy human or AI.

I explored paytag built on @arc by @mysucesstory
It's a payment platform that allows you to pay for services with just username.
Aside that @usepaytag has some solid lineup features like descover, invoice, Spilt escrow coming soon.
Things that caught my attention on Paytag.
-The UI/UX is Solid.
-The I terface is well structured.
-AI agents can also make transactions on Paytag.
- Chatbot for AI assistance.
What should be added or work on.
- Private payment service.
- Vault for storage.
-Yield farming.
- The chatbot is not responding to most questions i asked.
Paytag aim to make onchain payment more easier and closely similar to fintect apps with little or no crypto jargon.
I'm looking forward to also test it on mainnet.
I just finish testing Nan, a multi-tool hub built on @arc
On @nan_arc you can Swap, Bridge, Register. arc domain name, schedule payroll, make payment requests,
NAN AI use ai to request any information about the connected wallet,Convert USDC to NG(coming soon).
MY EXPERIENCE ON THE PLATFORM
-I used the swap function to swap USDC to EURC vise vasa in FX rate.
-Bridged USDC from Arc to Sepolia, Base sepolia and op Sepolia successfully trough arc CCTP V2
-Registered my .arc name
-Used the payroll to send my alt 5 USDC and it was really smooth.
-Requested 5 USDC payment from my alt I made payment earlier, added mail, got payment link and procced it and it was very smooth.
INTERESTING THINGS ABOUT NAN
- It has the option of mail connect or wallet connect. This is suitable for web2 peeps.
- It is basically all in one platform.
- Love the idea of payment request and process ( request - send link or QR to payer - get paid).
-Solid UI/UX
-Well organised Interface, looks professional.
WHAT TO IMPROVE ON
- wallet do discount after refresh
- Activity : only number of sends is showing value.
- Mini guide for newcomers.
Overall Nan is a Solid project on Arc I'm looking farward to test on mainnet and The USDC to Naira function is really a cool feature I would like to check out.
@ZaraFatoluu did an amazing job here.
Small milestone reached
🎉50 paytags claimed road to 100.
Thanks for the support guys Looking forward to get more feedbacks from everyone.

when i say i love building on @arc here's one of the reasons, i integrate Circle forwarding service for cross chain transaction on @usepaytag and the end results for users is mind blowing
in the video i sent usdc from base sepolia to arc testnet
In this Release Notes episode, we cover Circle Forwarding Service for Gateway and how it simplifies crosschain USDC transfers.
Developers can use it to:
→ Move USDC crosschain without managing destination chain gas fees
→ Reduce multichain infrastructure overhead
→ Automate destination-chain minting
Arc’s privacy roadmap is designed for real financial workflows where confidentiality matters:
→ Payroll-style payouts
→ Treasury operations
→ B2B settlement
→ FX workflows
→ Tokenized asset activity
The goal is privacy with governed visibility: sensitive activity protected from public exposure, while authorized parties retain defined access.
A future path for confidentiality with control in stablecoin finance.
