Vice Admiral Nancy Lacore defied the odds, winning the race for South Carolina’s First Congressional District. Lacore was fired by Pete Hegseth without cause after 35 years of service to our country. She could have retired, but Lacore wasn’t ready to stop serving. Now she’ll represent South Carolina in Congress, and VoteVets is proud to have had her back.

Four years ago, Pres. Biden nominated Scott Colom to serve as a federal judge in Mississippi. Mississippi Republican Senator Roger Wicker supported the nomination of Mr. Colom. The state's other senator, Cindy Hyde-Smith, refused to do so based on absurd claims. Mr. Colom reached to Sen. Hyde-Smith to address her concerns and respectfully point out misunderstandings on her part and appeal to her better angels. Other prominent Mississippi Republicans reached out to Sen. Hyde-Smith asking her to reconsider and support Mr. Colom's nomination. She still refused, effectively killing his nomination for no good reason. She's now on the verge of losing her seat to Scott Colom, who would have never been a threat if she had supported his judicial nomination.

The White House today celebrated a “historic ceasefire” in Oleshky, with Putin’s envoy Kirill Dmitriev on stage. Here is the part that was left out: 🔴 Russia occupied Oleshky, blocked all aid and mined the escape routes. Around 2,000 civilians were trapped and starving. Journalists from Novaya Gazeta Europe to Il Foglio have described them as human shields: as long as they were trapped, Ukraine could not strike Russian positions in the town. 🔴 Ukraine kept its own people alive by flying in food with military drones. Russian troops confiscated it. 🔴 A six-day pause finally came on Oct 27. Russia used it to rotate units, fortify positions, bring in ammunition and move armour and infantry into the town. Sky News filmed it. 🔴 Throughout the pause, according to Ukraine’s Southern Defence Forces, Russian drones dropped objects to stage “violations” and blame Ukraine. A Russian ambassador then publicly accused Ukraine of breaking the truce. 🔴 Russia refused to extend the truce. It ended on Nov 1. Moscow’s response to the footage: it “assumes Kyiv did the same.” 🔴 Four days later, the Kremlin’s envoy was applauded at the White House for “choosing humanity over war.” Russia created the crisis, used civilians as cover, used the pause to rearm, staged violations to blame Ukraine, ended it, and still collected the credit. Saving civilians matters, and Ukraine was right to get them out. But a pause the aggressor uses to reload is not peace. Any real ceasefire needs monitoring and guarantees, or it is just a reload break. #Ukraine

😂 #Putin supporter. Moldovan citizen living in Germany was detained upon entering #Moldova and is set to stand trial for allegedly calling for war. He publicly urged Vladimir Putin to attack Moldova while residing in #Germany. He operated several YT and TikTok accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers.

Update: the belligerent, violent, Jan 6 rally planner Max Miller has lost in OH-7. If he could throw boiling water on his wife, do we really think he couldn't organize a little political violence too? But now he is gone.

Schade

‼️ I hope Yuliia Mendel will soon be arrested and, if found guilty in court, sentenced to life imprisonment. I believe that people whose guilt of high treason has been proven should not be allowed to enjoy a normal life with impunity while Ukrainians are dying for the right to exist, for freedom, and for the sovereignty of our homeland — Ukraine. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Office of the Prosecutor General have reportedly notified Yuliia Mendel in absentia of suspicion of high treason. In addition, according to the information released, she has been notified of suspicion under Parts 2 and 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — justifying, recognizing as legitimate, or denying Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, as well as glorifying those involved in it. According to reports, an expert examination concluded that her public statements contained elements of discrediting Ukraine and justifying Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. I hope Yuliia Mendel will be held accountable under the law if the charges against her are proven in court. While Ukrainians are dying every single day defending our country’s right to exist, its freedom, and its sovereignty, publicly justifying Russian aggression must not go without legal consequences. If high treason is proven, the punishment must reflect the gravity of the crime — up to and including life imprisonment, where legally justified. Freedom of speech does not mean impunity for high treason. #Ukraine #NationalSecurity #RussianAggression #JusticeForUkraine #RuleOfLaw
‼️ EVERYONE NEEDS TO PAY ATTENTION AND READ THIS! For the past 24 hours, I have been following international news coverage. Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, near Kyiv, is everywhere. Unverified stories about alleged “Zelenskyy’s torture chambers,” sensational accusations, political statements, and the amplification of Russian narratives. But what about Komyshuvakha? What about the massive overnight missile attack on Ukraine? Where is the same attention to the Ukrainians who have been killed?! On November 2, Russia launched airstrikes on Komyshuvakha in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, where people had gathered to receive humanitarian aid. As of today, 33 people have reportedly been killed. More than 50 others may still be trapped beneath the rubble. Just imagine: people came to receive humanitarian assistance. For food. For a chance to survive. And Russia dropped aerial bombs on them. Among those killed were civilians, police officers, and rescue workers. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has reported identifying approximately 100 people involved in the unrest in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka. Law enforcement authorities are investigating the circumstances, while allegations about supposed “torture chambers” have not been substantiated by Ukraine’s National Guard. Possible abuses involving military personnel are also being investigated separately. Yet international commentators have already managed to turn unverified allegations into a political weapon against Ukraine. And this is what outrages me the most. While the world debates sensational accusations, Ukrainian rescue workers are searching through the rubble for the bodies of people killed by Russia. While some are demanding an end to military assistance for Ukraine, Russian missiles and aerial bombs continue killing Ukrainians. I am not asking anyone to ignore possible human rights violations. Every allegation must be properly investigated. But why does an unverified sensational story attract so much attention, while the confirmed mass killing of people fails to generate the same international outrage? This is not just a question about propaganda. It is a question about the value of human life. About how the international news agenda is shaped. And about whether we are allowing information noise to divert attention from the real victims of this war. KOMYSHUVAKHA. 33 REPORTED DEAD. MORE THAN 50 PEOPLE MAY STILL BE BURIED UNDER THE RUBBLE. DO NOT LET THIS TRAGEDY DISAPPEAR FROM INTERNATIONAL HEADLINES. #Komyshuvakha #Ukraine #RussianWarCrimes #Disinformation #ProtectCivilians #StandWithUkraine

As he arrives in Mar-a-Lago, Russian and Chinese-backed Bosnian Serb secessionist Milorad Dodik, who spent close $20 million lobbying US officials since 2025 and secured sanctions relief in October last year, now faces the prospects of a US Congress determined to expose what senior Democrats have called a "pay to play" scheme, involving top White House officials and Dodik. And that after he already backed the losing electoral bids of Orban and Vucic. For Dodik, US sanctions relief may, indeed, prove to have been a most Pyrrhic victory. semafor.com/article/09/14/20…

Wieloletnie śledztwo brazylijskich służb wywiadowczych i organów ścigania zidentyfikowało co najmniej dziewięciu rosyjskich nielegalnych agentów, którzy używali brazylijskich tożsamości do stworzenia swoich własnych legend. Wielu z nich było na "wczesnym etapie" swoich wieloletnich misji, kiedy ich nowe życia zostały zakłócone przez śledztwa i doniesienia medialne... #Espionge #Nielegał
