They say touch some grass... so I'm building a green forest 🌲 Small steps every day beat big bursts once a month. What's one thing you're showing up for daily?

Teachers in Bangladesh say "খাতা যাচাই করছি" for the hours spent checking answer scripts. Zachai does that checking: handwritten scripts, MCQ sheets, typed essays. Teachers review instead of starting from scratch. Try it 👇

Hot take: "full-stack" really means you're comfortable being mediocre at several things at once. And that's fine. When you're solo, shipping beats specializing.

I've built a few hackathon projects. The biggest lesson: Deadlines force decisions. Spark Karten: under 24 hours, 1st place at Hackverse. Ongkon: under 72 hours, now has open source contributors. Fiftheye (now Zachai): 7 days, now used by teachers. Constraints ship products.

Most journals become a dead archive. Echo turns your entries into mood insights, meditations and to-dos, so writing feeds back into your day. Building it in public. Try it in the next post 👇

Tip for solo builders: write the README before the code. If you can't explain what you're building in 5 lines, you're not ready to build it yet.

My go-to stack for shipping fast: → Next.js + TypeScript → Go for APIs → Postgres or MongoDB → Docker + Linux → Claude Code for the boring parts What's yours? Curious what other builders reach for.

Hot take: an ugly v1 teaches you more than a perfect plan ever will. Ship it. Let real users tell you what's wrong.

New experiment starting today. For the next 7 days I'm posting something different every day: a story, a lesson, a technical breakdown, a question. Then I'll check which ones actually landed and do more of those. Follow along if you're curious what wins.

FifthEye is now Zachai. Same login. Same credits. Same grading engine. Just a name that finally says what the product does. Here's the story behind it 🧵

What changed: the name, a new logo, and a blue-to-purple look across the site, emails and exports. What didn't: your login, credits, subscription, exams, grading history, pricing. There's nothing you need to do.

Still one founder and a lot of coffee. Thank you to everyone who graded a script back when it was FifthEye. Zachai is what it grew into. Try it: zachai.co What do you think of the new name? 👇
