It's simple: @namada's privacy is about blending in. There needs to be enough deposit activity, or depositors will stand out.

@namadanetwork's cubic slashing scheme more tightly couples penalty sizes to security faults, so it's much riskier to centralize stake. eg. if 3 validators fault w total 25% of stake, delegators take a ~50% loss - large validators deleg risk ⤴️ - small validators deleg risk ⤵️
