When it comes to building massive highways and flyovers that will only increase pollution and temperatures there is no environmental destruction for these hypocrites. For them railways that require only much less resources and will solve pollution and congestion are destructive!

Apparently this is to
1. Facilitate crew change. Then just change the crew, not the bus!
2. Make Angamaly a "transit hub". Do they even know what a transit hub is??
3. Reduce the number of buses on the road! The entire premise of public transport is to run MORE buses, not less!!

I’ve hit upon a new analogy for DEI work that relates to doing research on Paxos, so I thought I would share. In my experience, one reason that doing Paxos research is so hard is that most people do not have enough Paxos expertise to make progress on open problems. 1/n
It seems like Kochi metro is discouraging metro patronage by introducing parking fee for metro passengers. It was told to me by a random staff from a pvt company claiming to take over parking area of metro at Thykoodam station. Bold move! @MetroRailKochi @kochinext
