Commercial customers who received a solar energy system with no upfront costs and are purchasing the electricity from our subsidiary @SolShareEnergy will only see only a 1.15% increase.
Today new BC Hydro rates came into effect. It is an average net increase of 2.3% customers without solar energy. Of course, customers who have purchased a solar energy system will see no increase for the electricity their system produces.

VREC has had a policy of avoiding brands that are associated with forced labour. So we are not affected by Canada’s Border Services crackdown on solar module containers. CBSA provides insight to pvbuzz pvbuzz.com/canada-border-ser…

Good reasons to get your solar from a local employee owned installer with no commissioned sales people. And PPAs and leases through community ownership.
Rooftop solar is the future, but it's also a scam. It didn't have to be, but America decided that the best way to roll out distributed, resilient, clean and renewable energy was to let Wall Street run the show. 1/

The western electrical grid is straining with the current record cold temperatures. Thankfully the cold, clear weather is ideal for solar energy (photovoltaic) production. Here in Vancouver the last 3 days of cold weather yielded the highest production of the month.

When we get good solar production during the day hydroelectric generation can be reduced and more water can be stored behind the dams to be used at night. We also need to increase inter-provincial transmission lines to help out our friends in Alberta.

Solar Energy PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) are an effective tool to help companies reach their ESG goals. There is no upfront capital costs to install solar and operating savings increase over time.
