Hello Hal-Con day 3, I'm sold out of all my books and caught up on commissions so I'm drawing Thancred behind my table for myself.

Today’s sneak peek features the work of the excellent @varethane! #jakanddaxter #jnd #naughtydoggames #fanzine
Two cartoon scrolls with the Precursor stone on a metal sheet. First has text: Preview by Varethane. Second has image: 2-era Jak crouched by a Krimzon Guard zoomer, painting the Underground symbol on it, smiling confidently. Daxter stands on top of the zoomer's hood, though the image is cut so only his feet and tail are visible. Torn's foot is visible in the background. Everything is lit with a soft yellow glow.

Apropos of nothing, I am also on the other blue site! It's not included in my pinned post (which has all the other places you can find me on the web), so here's a link: bsky.app/profile/varethane.b…

I will never get over how funny his face looked after he lost the cooking challenge: “Despite all of my victories, schemes, and years of service, all of my political ambitions…have been laid to waste…by tacos.” 🤣

The pens are down and the art is in! Thank you to all of our fantastic artists; you all worked so hard on your incredible pieces! While our mod team puts the zine together, enjoy your first teaser, courtesy of the wonderful @Jackarais! #jakanddaxter #jnd #naughtydoggames #fanzine
Two cartoon scrolls with a JnD wax seal laid on wood that show text: “Preview by Jackarais” and image: A battle on the streets of Haven, shaded with stark contrasts and rough textures. Ashelin, Torn, and Jinx are fighting against Krimzon Guards.

I wanted this so bad that I drew it Before the tier dropped, I was in the process of gaslighting myself that it was totally GOING to happen...... not so sure now that I've seen the story, but hey, it'd still be fun as hell.

One of the bosses for a future Arcadion fight should just be Estinien. Like, he heard about the event, signed up, and fought his way up the ranks ignorant to the fact that we were also participating He would transform into an azure version of his Nidhogg form because lore idk???
