I decided to take a closer look at the actual activity behind @QFEX, and the numbers caught my attention.
According to DefiLlama, QFEX currently ranks #8 among tracked perp platforms by open interest:
$185.33M in open interest
$449.85M in reported 24h volume
$9.12B in reported 30-day volume
These are notable figures, especially considering how little attention QFEX seems to get compared to other perp DEXs.
What makes the platform particularly interesting to me is its 24/7 trading of stocks, indices and commodities. Being able to access these markets even when traditional exchanges are closed opens up some interesting opportunities.
Season 0 is another reason I'm keeping an eye on the project. The team is taking early trading activity, product feedback and community participation into account. The points formula and distribution date are still unknown, so I wouldn't speculate about the potential value of future rewards.
For now, I'll be watching a few key metrics:
Whether open interest continues to grow or remains stable
Whether spreads become more competitive
Whether market depth improves and larger orders can be executed efficiently

I noticed an interesting pattern across Hyperliquid, Lighter, Variational and QFEX: a lot of their founders and/or team members come from these quant trading firms:
7 from Citadel - Hyperliquid team members, Lighter founder, QFEX co-founder
5 from HRT (Hudson River Trading) - Hyperliquid and QFEX team members
3 from Jane Street - Variational and QFEX team members
2 from Tower Research Capital - Hyperliquid founder, QFEX co-founder
It's honestly crazy how undervalued QFEX is, especially considering it's already ranked 10th among all crypto exchanges by RWA perps OI
I think once they launch a points program and generously reward early users with retroactive points, we'll see a massive influx of users, just like what happened with Variational, which allocated 30% of its points supply to early users

if you look at loss refund program you'll see that only 50 traders got refund(with 20% chance),that means that there are only 250 losing traders with 100k+ volume.
of course some of them dont know about the program and there are profitable ones.
I assume that only 500-1000 traders in total for now.
this is why i'm super bullish.
recent @TxFlow_L1 dropped retro points and from what i see for same actions traders got 10x more points in retro stage than current point seasons.
same was with lighter variational hyperliquid and many others.
right now im focusing on getting my trading volume as big as possible to get maximum of it and of course if im in loss i got chance to get it back.
here some tips on how you can get as much as possible points:
-focus on taker volume
-got liquidations(variational refunded them at 30x in points value)
-invite other traders
-post your results on x
im using DN strategy in pair with txflow for now
