Luckily I was in the air for most of the game, but I still had to watch with crappy wifi. Anyway, The Rainbow Connection is a fantatic organization that I'm very happy to support🎗️#rivalryforareason

In my 19 years covering the Packers on a daily basis, I've never written a blame-the-refs story. Yeah, I get it, the Packers beat themselves, too, but what happened at Ford Field was unaccepable, an embarrassment and, to quote Xavier McKinney, bullshit. ⬇️

This is why I do this ... please watch and have tissues ready. youtube.com/watch?v=qm87Ki7-…

Not a dumb question at all. I research smaller, local foundations (some I know from my charity work). There are plenty of wonderful statewide and nationwide organizations like St. Jude, but I look for the ones doing the quieter, often unseen work. I’ve volunteered with a small local foundation in Chicago for 20 years, and I’ve seen up close how much these families struggle and the toll it takes on both the kids and their parents. Because of that, I focus on organizations that prioritize direct family support over research. Both are valuable and necessary, but after spending so much time with the families themselves, that’s where I want to direct my support.
