This is so rad- someone living next to a bus stop in Philly programmed an old clock to let folks know when the next bus is coming.

Im tired of this guy playing city skylines with Houston like we don’t have a city government.
HE IS NOT A TRAFFIC ENGINEER.
He’s been in politics since he was 22! He doesn’t know anything about streets!
Heads up! I saw the mayor taking a tour of the roundabout on Irvington. I had a polite conversation, saying that we actually need more to slow down traffic going 50+ mph. He disagreed and they are going to tear it out. @MarioforHouston was not with him...@AllenAC009
Unintended benefit of new curb extensions on Texas St downtown, when @JonesHallHOU blocks the sidewalk, it’s slightly safer to walk in street around the truck because now it’s a formal loading lane instead of a travel lane! Still not possible if you use a mobility aid 😖
Well, that was quick. I think these were in the ground for maybe a month? @JonesHallHOU
This article gives the reason @METROHouston removed the curb extensions @JonesHallHOU installed. Totally inappropriate and unjustified use of METRO funds.

Few things have politicized me more against car culture than being in charge of a 2-year old and walking on the sidewalk.

WATCH 24 seconds illustrating perhaps the cheapest, best way to make cities work better FAST. Want people to reconsider personal vehicles for public transit? Let ‘em ride in DEDICATED BRT bus lanes past cars stuck in traffic. HT @HorneJerome @IndyGoBus

🚧@METROHouston has quietly rescinded its plans to construct a bike lane on McGowen as part of the 54 Scott BOOST project, the agency said.

Well, that’s unfortunate. I knew the bike stuff was on hold, but it looks like the @METROHouston McGowen safety improvements are officially scrapped. @edpettittmph were you aware of this?
