I knew this gentleman in my teen years, he used to camp outside of our village, he worked on local farms and slept beneath an upturned pram that carried his worldly goods. Of Romany stock, we chatted if I passed his camp (with my lurchers and ferrets) to drop him a rabbit off.

Wishing Sir Kevin Sinfield the very best of luck on 7️⃣ Ultra Marathons in 7️⃣ days, in support of the MND community and in memory of Rob Burrow CBE. The Princess Royal spent time with Kevin, as well as the brilliant MND Association staff, carers, families and supporters, who will join him on this remarkable journey. 💙

I have photographed Whitby Abbey hundreds of times over the years but have never seen this before! A rainbow formed this morning not long after sunrise and hit straight onto the Abbey.

Familiarity has numbed us to the sheer weirdness of what we are doing. A normal country treats its borders as sacrosanct. For hundreds of years, we defended our waters with broadsides and cutlasses. Now, we offer a maritime taxi service to criminals who are seeking to break in to our country. What a strange hill on which to die. The Left is not just destroying itself electorally; it is undermining our democratic order. And all for what? To keep importing lawless young men with no claim on our nationality who are already in a safe country? My masters are you mad?

A photo I took a few years ago - and for no reason other than the fact I think it a 'pretty picture', I give you a cobbled lane, a row of Yorkshire cottages and colourful flowers (should you feel inclined to ask the location, we were in Grassington).

Just had a walk around an average-sized stubble field - and saw Canada geese feeding on there; three hares, partridge, pheasant, a kite and a kestrel plus, in the field sides, many varieties of vegetation... where is this "nature-depleted" land of which some speak? !

"Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce. Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you’ve never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the ride." -Anthony Bourdain

I took to the dappled woodland this morning, (mainly for some respite from the sun), and did some 'Woodlarking'. I found a few gems; left to right, Stock Dove, Magpie (tail), Kestrel (tail), and Buzzard. The iridescence of the magpie feather is stunning.😍
