This morning, MRED (Midwest Real Estate Data) announced that Zillow and Trulia’s access to MRED listing data has been suspended following a licensing dispute between the companies. As a result, Zillow and Trulia may no longer display many MLS listings throughout Central and Northern Illinois at this time.
What does this mean for consumers?
If you’re currently searching for homes on Zillow or Trulia, you may notice missing listings, incomplete information, delayed updates, or inaccurate property statuses. This could affect both buyers searching for available homes and sellers expecting maximum online exposure for their listings.
The good news?
