Rewatched Halloween III. Still feels like a lost John Carpenter film. Beautiful Dean Cundey cinematography and menacing Carpenter soundtrack. If only they had marketed it in a different way. 2nd best in the franchise IMHO.

I'm currently enjoying the new A24 series Crystal Lake. A neat take on the Friday 13th franchise, with a suitably unhinged performance from Linda Cardellini as Pam Vorhees.

I forgot (maybe on purpose) how awful Poltergeist III was. Especially disappointing, considering it was directed by Gary Sherman (Death Line, Dead & Buried).
