I built PICO-Celeste Bench:
a coding-agent benchmark where the output is not an abstract score, but a real playable PICO-8 cartridge.
Goal: generate a mini Celeste-like with dash, collisions, level design, sprites...

On a longtemps comparé la data au pétrole pour l'importance de son raffinage.
Aujourd'hui, la métaphore vaut surtout pour ses limites géologiques : les réserves de données humaines de haute qualité s'épuisent (data wall)

I am incredibly proud to announce that Cometh has been acquired by Kaiko !
When we started Cometh, our goal was to push the boundaries of #DeFi infrastructure and adoption, specifically focusing on smart contract wallets, account abstraction, and cross-chain integrations. We’ve had an amazing journey building these capabilities, and today marks a massive milestone for the entire team.
Why Kaiko?
For over 18 months, Cometh has been a trusted technical partner to Kaiko based on our products and regulatory standing. As institutional clients increasingly move their operations onchain, they already rely on Kaiko for market data, reference rates, and indices. By joining forces, Kaiko can now offer the data infrastructure layer institutions need to seamlessly execute in onchain markets from a single regulated provider. It’s a perfect synergy: data tells you what is happening while the infrastructure lets you act on it.
I have some personal news to share as well, following the acquisition, I will be transitioning out of the company to explore my next endeavors. I couldn’t be leaving our mission in better hands.
The Cometh leadership team notably with @vincentLg & @leo_wgr will remain securely in place, and the combined team is expected to grow. We will proudly operate under the Kaiko brand moving forward. There will be absolutely no changes to Cometh's existing commitments or service levels for our current clients.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible Cometh team and all the colleagues and contributors we met along the way, our clients, our investors for the trust they placed in us, and the wider #Ethereum community for your endless support. I am so excited to watch this combined entity thrive, delivering the ONLY European MiCA compliant offering that brings data quality, compliance, and onchain access into a single, unified stack.
Onwards!
Proud to share that Cometh is joining @KaikoData 🚀
Cometh has spent the last years building production-grade onchain infrastructure: wallets, execution, security, and real-world blockchain systems.
Kaiko brings trusted market data, pricing, indices, and oracle infrastructure.
Together, we can connect two essential layers: understanding digital asset markets, and acting on them reliably.
Excited for what comes next.
Cometh has officially joined Kaiko! 🚀
We are thrilled to share that Cometh has been acquired by @KaikoData, the leading provider of institutional-grade digital asset market data and infrastructure.

Web3's promise: push security down to the chain, so the frontend doesn't need to be trusted.
Attackers don't attack the chain. They take the path of least resistance.
The cow.fi hijack didn't break anything on-chain. Contracts were fine. What broke was upstream: the domain registration chain (registrars, DNS). Users loaded a perfect clone on the legitimate URL.
The last line of defense is supposed to be "read what you sign." But wallet UX still makes that unrealistic for most users. That's a design gap, not a user failure.
The encouraging part: the work is already underway. Human-readable signing (Ledger's Clear Signing, ERC-7730), transaction simulation in wallets, intent-based flows. The challenge now is making them the default rather than a power-user toggle.

Last @EthCC , we were showcasing Louis.finance as a technical beta.
This year, we’re discussing stablecoins, yield and regulation at @TheAgora_Event in Cannes.
For years, we’ve been building on @ethereum , pushing accessibility through Account Abstraction and smart wallets.
Today, with our MiCA CASP authorization, we’re doing something very specific:
Using a fully regulated European framework to connect institutions to onchain money markets.
Through regulated stablecoins issued by major financial institutions (Circle, Société Génale Forge, and others), capital can move seamlessly into decentralized liquidity venues such as @aave
What this means for our users:
– Continuous liquidity
– Transparent, onchain infrastructure
– Market-driven yield
– Institutional-grade custody and compliance
Regulation as an access layer.
Onchain protocols as the execution layer.
That level of integration between regulated stablecoin issuers, MiCA supervision, and decentralized markets remains rare (arguably unique) in 🇪🇺.
Proud of the path with @Cometh and louis.finance

A new, unified stack for Base Chain
Excited to share that we are evolving our technical roadmap, consisting of our own spec, code, and infra to accelerate the foundation of Base. This shift gives us the autonomy to ship protocol improvements more frequently and focus our resources on scaling to 1 gigagas/s.
What this means for builders:
- Higher Velocity: Targeting 6 hardforks per year to get you new features and fixes faster.
- Massive Scale: Targeting 1 gigagas/s to support high-throughput apps without congestion.
- Extreme Reliability: Targeting 99.99% non-empty blocks and predictable, low fees.
- Simpler Design: A maximally simple spec that’s easier to audit and build on.
Along with this, we will take a more active role in managing our own upgrade schedule and stack: allowing us to build what the ecosystem needs, at the speed it needs, while remaining deeply aligned with Ethereum.

⤵️⤵️⤵️
La conclusion: L’IA ne remplace pas l’ingénieur, elle amplifie ses choix, bons comme mauvais.
Merci aux participants pour la qualité des échanges,
Une communauté est clairement en train de se structurer. Le prochain meetup est en préparation !
