While modern football video games continue their regular release cycles, dedicated fans have found another way to enjoy the sport through an ambitious community project that effectively delivers a modern remaster of Pro Evolution Soccer 5. Showcased across social media, the fan-built setup recreates the golden era of the 05-06 football season with remarkable visual fidelity.
Built on the PC base of eFootball PES 2021, the mod transfers the complete database of PES 5 into the modern engine. The overhaul includes meticulously crafted 05-06 kits, such as Arsenal's iconic redcurrant Highbury farewell shirt, Reebok's classic Liverpool strip, and iconic kits for Barcelona and Inter Milan. The project also incorporates authentic footwear from the period, including the Nike Total 90 and adidas Predator lines, era-accurate match balls, and authentic stadiums across Europe's top five leagues.
Beyond visual improvements, the creators have adjusted the core gameplay and physics files to emulate the deliberate tempo and mechanics that originally made PES 5 one of Konami's most celebrated titles. For fans nostalgic for classic mid-2000s football aesthetics and traditional Master League depth, the community project provides a detailed tribute to a legendary entry in football gaming.

• Sistem transfer baru bener2 gamechanger, asik banget nego2an pemain satset

• Mixed feelings. Cukup fun & refreshing, tp somehow ngerasa gimmick aja
✅ Menu lebih smooth dengan UI yang lebih fresh (kerasa barunya)

• Welcomed changes, improvisasi minor yang positif.
• Kalau kalian bukan yang hobi banget main FC/casual player, beli ketika diskon, terutama kalian yang masih ada FC 26.
• Buat yang mau beli sekarang, beli versi Standar udah cukup.
FC 27 telah resmi dirilis untuk semua versi dan pengguna! Tersedia mulai dari PC, PS5 hingga Switch 2.
