Tech is for everyone.
Regardless of what you did before, you have a place here.
There is no shortage of roles, there are plenty.
Tech is for everyone.

Me, thinking PHP had been largely deprecated, looking around the internets this morning:
Running Autonomous Agents in Prod????
Heading to KubeCon NA?!
My friend, Rajith is putting up a special breakfast if youβre in Salt Lake City!
Details below ππ½ππ½ππ½
If you are attending #KubeCon in Salt Lake City & running autonomous agents in production then it's event is for you.
Iβm hosting a small breakfast roundtable in Salt Lake City during KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2026 for engineering leaders who are working through exactly that.
Wednesday, November 11
8:00 to 8:45 AM (doors 7:45)
AC Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown
No slides and no pitch. Weβll talk about where agents have earned production access and how you measure whether theyβre actually helping.
Limited to 20 seats. RSVP early to secure your spot.
We run our own AI SRE agent, Raiya, in production at Randoli, so weβll bring our own lessons too. Iβd like to hear yours.
Request an invite: link in the first comment.

AGNTCon + MCPCon is happening this week in San Jose!
IF youβre in the area, are free to attend, and want to go, HMU. Iβll hook you up with a ticket.
Only catch: you gotta go say hi and meet my friends Amanda and @nickytonline π
Opening Facebook after a decade feels like opening up a time capsule and realizing how cringe you once were (and probably still are π)

@lindseydortch got tired of waiting and learned to built it herself!
She went from running email campaigns and chasing search rankings, to engineering SEO initiatives and leading UI standardization.

Marino Wijay (@virtualized6ix) on the show: "Tech has been the largest accounting hack ever." His case: VCs hedging across five companies on the same non-problem, and a tax structure that rewards hiring tech people either way. arresteddevops.com/wtf-is-goβ¦

It's out! π
Earlier I mentioned I learned @ciliumproject the hard way, straight from the docs.
What's inside:
β what Cilium is, and why it's built on eBPF
β why it uses identities instead of IP addresses
β what happens to a packet between two pods
β how it replaces kube-proxy
β where Hubble and Cluster Mesh fit
Read it here: medium.com/@pratikmahalle/whβ¦
If you're new to Cilium and something still doesn't click after reading, tell me in the comments. I'd like to make it better.

My heart aches for those who suddenly had the rug pulled from under them.
Itβs a deeply emotional moment because you feel as if the world is ending, you were at the top of your game and got knocked down to zero.
Iβve been there. It sucks.
BUT I can safely say that single jolt reframes your entire outlook, and things start to get better.
Because it takes too damn long to get my beard and hair right every time

If someone can have a strong platform independently from the topic/company, can be on camera, enjoys and can build an organic community, is deeply technical, and is good at contentβ¦ why arenβt they making a ton more money as an influencer selling brand deals instead?

@virtualized6ix on how infra projects were staffed: a contractor racks and cables, his team brings systems up, a third layer decides what to build. "Those three layers, interestingly enough, have collapsed into two layers now." arresteddevops.com/wtf-is-goβ¦

"have you ever thought about working in SA?" tfw the solutions team tries to poach your devrel...
Devrel and your solutions/FDE folks have a ton of overlap and are some of my favorite folks to collaborate with
It is also very common to see people from both of these disciplines end up migrating one way or the other
For my devrel friends not sure of their next move, definitely look into SA/FDE. You already have the skills.
