I was hoping Twitter could survive long enough for @tapbot_paul to finish the elephant client, but it’s not looking good. I may have to accept a gap in my Tweetbot usage.
Latest mod project: a consolized Game Boy Advance using an awesome kit from @GameboxSystems.
The scaling is super crisp and it looks incredible on the big screen. Also love that it uses SNES controllers so I can use my 8BitDo SN30 for some low latency wireless gameplay.
If Elon is suspending people who tell him to fuck off, then this place is somehow even more doomed than it already was.
My pal @lexfri quit Twitter a few days ago. His account has now been suspended—I can only imagine that’s a result of his parting tweet, which contained some choice words about Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
So I guess we see exactly how much Elon cares about free speech.

More Sega Nomad upgrades. I really love this thing, despite it being a small brick.
Replaced the (35!) capacitors and upgraded the screen again. I wasn’t loving the composite screen I had in there. It was too soft especially for text. This new RGB screen is super sharp.

If you’re into cyberpunk games, especially RPGs, I highly recommend Jack Move. It runs great on the Steam Deck and it’s only 6-8 hours long.

This time it’s a Super Gameboy. I replaced the capacitors and installed a mod to fix the clock speed. Apparently it ran 4% faster than a real Gameboy because it didn’t have its own crystal oscillator.
I am unreasonably excited for these adapters for the Analogue Pocket.
