Made some research about @meetmotes and I think the idea is worth explaining in plain words.

The HR manager called me into her office and asked why I had pulled my application for the promotion.
I told her I hadn't pulled anything.
She turned her laptop around so I could see the screen.
HR Manager: “We received this email from your account yesterday.”
The message said I no longer wanted to be considered for the operations manager position because I didn't feel ready for the responsibility.
Employee: “I didn't send that.”
HR Manager: “It came from your work email.”
Employee: “Then someone accessed my account.”
She watched me quietly for a moment.
HR Manager: “You realize that accusing someone of getting into your account is serious?”
Employee: “I do. But I applied for the position because I've already been doing half the job for almost a year.”
She shut the laptop.....
