Lovely to be in Mulligan’s of Amsterdam last night & catch up with my old pal @vlacken (the Glen Hansard lookalike on guitar). Can’t believe it’s 30 years ago since I used to see him play at the White Horse in Dublin.
In the heart of Tuscany's Cinque Terre lies Riomaggiore, a picturesque village with a timeless beauty. For this shot I used a Nikkor 14-24mm lens at it's widest, my back pressed against a wall of a house on the opposite side of the bay. I was lucky to get it all in the frame.
The coastline around Legzira in Morocco is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and unique geological features. Located on the Atlantic coast, the coastline is characterized by dramatic cliffs, rocky formations, and beautiful sandy beaches.

Prinsengracht, Amsterdam (2012)
From my archive.
Apparently the canals used to freeze about every five years or so but now the winters are getting warmer and wetter I wonder if we'll see this again any time soon.

The sublime beauty of Dresden's Frauenkirche, a symbol of resilience rising from the ashes of war, can be quite mezmerizing. Its stunning architecture whispers tales of a dark past, reminding us of the importance of remembrance and hope. #Dresden #Frauenkirche #architecture

Zimbabwe has been grappling with a cholera outbreak since February 2023, with the number of cases increasing across the country after the holiday season.
Daily, more than 200 people are suspected to have fallen sick with cholera. Everyday, the numbers are going up, with more people at risk of infection or death.
To support the Zimbabwe Red Cross @ZrcsRed with its life-saving assistance and help to contain the outbreak, the IFRC has launched an emergency appeal.
Time is of the essence. I call for urgent support and solidarity. bit.ly/3SzZryB

Communities in the Muzarabani District in Zimbabwe had been forced to collect unsafe water from a nearby river.
Together with @ZrcsRed and @PunainenRisti the community has now developed a safe and sustainable water source.

As #Cholera continues to spread in Malawi, @MalawiRedCross volunteers have been raising awareness about the risks of the disease and how to reduce these risks, through house-to-house calls and community engagement sessions.
