People really have no idea how it is also deeply tormenting and mentally unsustainable to be defeminized when you are a cis woman. I've seen so many stories of women who grew up as fat girls, disabled girls, dark-skinned girls, groups that are overall historically seen as+
Maybe because being trans isn’t something you can “make” anyone. You either are trans or you aren’t. 🤷‍♂️

+"female but less womanly" by society and I can say that growing up like that genuinely altered ur entire brain chemistry. When these girls became adults and have some self-agency abt their own gender identity you really couldn't take their womaness out of their cold dead hands.

On a slightly different note, it’s always striking to recall that conditions people live with routinely today were once certain death sentences in the not-so-distant past...

While there are no clear figures for epilepsy, prior to the discovery of potassium bromide in 1857, the life expectancy for someone w epilepsy was 2 to 3 times lower than that of non-epileptic people, at a time when the average life expectancy was just about 40 years.

This gives me so much fucking hope for the future of disabled people, it makes me think about how many conditions that are currently certain death sentences might, in a not-so-distant future, become serious-but-manageable conditions, allowing people to live long, happy lives.

How I imagine hemophiliacs b4 1900 felt experiencing a sensation of impending doom after receiving a blood transf as a last resort to save their lives after they nearly bled to death from the smallest cut registered in human history (they'll begin convulsing violently in 30sec):

The concept of faking the transition of someone who is already trans, but not in a way that the brains of right-wingers can process 😭😭😭
for some reason fake celebrity transition posts keep showing up now

The group that comes closest to being as hated by rads as trans women are SWers. They believe that every paid sexual act is rape bc consent cannot be brought, but as for the people who would, by this logic, be victims of daily multiple SA due to their work as SWers? Fuck them all
perhaps some queer voices should be silenced

I've always understood "Queer doesn't have a look" to mean that there are people who aren't visibly queer but are still queer (i.e. lululesbians, bro gays, etc), not that visibly queer people don't exist at all, because there are definitely visibly queer people out there
i wonder, to white queers saying you cannot hide your queerness, i would ask… what does “queer” look like? i thought yall said there is no way to “look queer” the right way. what is the look that is impossible to disguise if required for safety?

Like, everyone knows a guy that everyone knew was going to be a fem gay man way before he even learned attraction is a thing. He could wear boys' clothes, have a boy's haircut, do boy things, only have boy friends, but the way he talks and moves is still undeniably effeminate.

Even w/o any external interference, just the moment he opened his mouth, everyone would immediately notice. He could get married, have many kids, do everything according to the Bible, the moment he let his guard down and stopped policing himself, his effeminate ways would emerge.

Some of you guys really expect trans men to be eternally morally indebted to womanhood and to always be "one of the good ones" among men because of this and it shows
theyre killing me on tiktok for this
