Against a computer psychological chess tactics do not work, but against humans they do. So the best moves in chess is not aways what the engine recommends, it is the one that works against your opponent.
I saw him eyeing my rooks, and let him go after one them, especially the a1 rook that is “jammed” in. I knew he would set up some tactic to go after it, distracting him from my plan, of choking his king on e8.
As expected the humanoid went after the a1 rook. And it did not end well. @ThankGod1903
Saturday is the day the week finally unclenches, pop the sparkling wine and let the bubbles do the celebrating.
On this day in 79 AD, Mount Vesuvius erupted and buried Pompeii, one of ancient Rome’s great wine regions.
The city and its surroundings were dotted with vineyards. Frescoes still show grape pressing, wine drinking, and worship of Dionysus. The ash preserved a remarkable snapshot of Roman viticulture that we can still see today.
