⚠️Dear VTubers with direct customizable models on their Throne:
REMOVE THEM! At least if they are from VGen. Maybe Ko-Fi too, I don't know. All digital purchases are a nightmare to deal with on Throne (if there's like not being able to link accounts like steam, vgen, ko-fi, etc).
For example, VGen will make a guest account (with your legal name, mind you) for you that you will not be able to access it (at least I don't think it lets you).
Just add a crowdfunding item and use that money to buy the customizable model yourself with your own account.
The customizable creator will have to give you the model in hand, but you will not be able to get to the updates as soon as they are up and you will have to wait for the creator to get back to you and send you the files, which is a hassle, both for you and the creator.
What works for me: creating a 100% discount code on my Ko-Fi (you cannot make VGen 100% discount codes, lame), and give them to the client, and as soon as they use it, you remove it! That way, when you update the customizable model, they will be able to re-download the model by themselves whenever they want.
(If you have any more suggestions as to what to do for either the client and the creator let me know! Or if there's another workaround!)
@_VGen_ it would be amazing if you could add 100% discount codes for the shop! And 1-time-use codes would be amazing too!

Why are we "ethical brokers?" Why do we subcontract artists? Why do we bother showing clients artist outside our studio too?

We trial various artists to ensure they are trustworthy. The ones that prove to be consistently reliable, we offer to join us in house. If a customer doesn't like any of our inhouse artists, we take the time to help them find their perfect dream artist out of house, because we care about making dreams come true, not about making a sale. We desire to cultivate a community where people don't need to spend $27k to become a vtuber, won't get scammed, and where small artist can spread their wings and help them grow. We are more than a group. We are a team. We are a community.
So why are we labelled brokers and not studio?
According to VGEN, because we do not provide employment benefits such as W-2, healthcare, or sick leave with minimum hours, we are labelled brokers.
