We used to get 26 episode seasons of this w/ ~3 months between seasons. It took Stranger things over 9 years to put out 42 episodes, while TNG ran 178 episodes in less than 7. I legitimately believe old shows still hold their place in our culture bc there's so much to talk about

Google losing 500 billion dollars in value because of their own decision to force AI summaries down our throats when their revenue model is based on search engine ads would be funny if it weren't also evidence of how shockingly dumb the people currently running the global economy are.

Here's a radical idea for reducing the welfare bill.
Pay people wages they can actually live on, so that working people don't have to rely on benefits just to survive.
And while we're at it, let's end the great rent rip-off.

You mean stealing people's ideas and information and having no ability to copyright them whilst polluting the planet and destroying critical thinking wasn't a solid investment plan for the tech bros who have zero appreciation for art, learning or knowledge?

Post midterms I better not hear anything about "compromise" or "reaching across the aisle."
We tried that. For decades. Look where we are!
Burn those motherfuckers to the ground and take no prisoners!

A post-election note for Democrats
The first one of you that says we need to build bridges, reach across the aisle and work with Republicans gets thrown into the fucking sun. Prosecute the criminal pedophiles destroying our country or get the hell out of the way.

If the CEO of KFC stopped working tomorrow, the company would still make money. If the cooks stopped working tomorrow, KFC wouldn't make a dime. You can't tell me the people doing the actual work don't deserve a living wage.

Capitalism is supposed to be about competition, but the billionaires just buy their way out of it, lock down the markets, and rewrite the rules to suit themselves. Then when anyone suggests taxing them we’re suddenly socialists. Maybe the real issue isn’t that people hate capitalism. It’s that capitalism stopped working for regular people a long time ago.

Why is no one talking about Jared Kushner being at the center of the plot that ultimately led to an American journalist being dismembered via bone saw while he was still alive?
