I suggest you inform yourself on the events going on in Poland now. Astonishingly, many people are unaware of these events because the reporting is not circulating as it widely as it might on many platforms.
It is over, but it was good. We tried a new kind of current scone from the farmers’ market. The pot of tea had two bags of tea mixed with a little loose tea from China. I do a little sugar and cream, and my man goes without sugar, but likes cream.

In light of Portland’s Royal Sonesta Hotel—bought in 2016 for $108.3M, and selling this week for a reported $6.83M, a 93% drop —I am re-upping my monograph “The Gloss of Good Intentions: How Portland Blew a Chance to Become the Next Great American City.” nancyrommelmann.substack.com…
French toast made with pumpkin spice challah bread. Made by my ‘life partner’ of ten years and forever. You can do this.
Recently watched the documentary on the Unabomber.
He would be so happy with what is happening in France. 🇫🇷

Reminder: get up and do the thing.
You can do it.
Your brain is designed for it.
Your Creator built you to get stronger when you push through and get after it.
I'm no @jockowillink or @davidgoggins . Heck, I'm not even @hubermanlab . But I am a brain surgeon who's been to war and lost a kid. So I know it hurts, but I also know you can do it.
Let's scrub into this day and get it done.

Lavishly compensated darling of the French and international literary world, Édouard Louis, who teaches in America, explicitly justifies political violence. Just an absolute moral shitshow.

This is an abominable tweet. She is *criticizing* these decent men and women for coming together to repel the marauders and protect their city’s shops. But these are exactly the kinds of citizens healthy societies cannot function without.

30 years ago, in the middle of the night, labor started for my precious second daughter. Family was terrified because my first daughter had been injured 2 years earlier during a catastrophic birth but husband + I were not afraid + this lamb was born healthy + strong. Hallelujah.

Yes I said it.
“In college in particular you really cannot have heavy binge drinking and consent culture. You have to choose between them. And what I mean by that, is that… if you’re going to have a culture of consent… then everybody has to be not drinking. There can’t be heavy drinking. Maybe two drinks.”
@sarahhepola, speaking difficult truths about blackouts, heavy drinking, and the tradeoffs with consent, from experience.
