There are so many grotesque examples like Bill Maher: people who don't just champion free speech and rail against cancel culture but build their careers on that branding -- UNTIL:
It all comes to a grinding halt when it comes to speech about their group: "oh, you can't say that: it's inciting violence against us" (the standard argument always used to censor speech or for "cancel culture" in every case).
Bari Weiss is of course the Queen of this self-absorbed dynamic. Ben Shapiro, too. But Bill Maher is probably the most blatant illustration of this fraud because few have exploited and profiteered from these free speech and anti-cancel-culture values more than he, only to instantly turn into the ADL and start policing and trying to suppress speech when he thinks it endangers his group:

Como por ejemplo, que una de las fotos mejor encuadradas, enfocadas y más emblemáticas de los atentados del 9/11, tomada una décima de segundo antes de que el supuesto avión del vuelo 175 de United Airlines impactara la Torre Sur del World Trade Center, fuera realizada por el judío Robert Cumins, que se pasó toda su carrera profesional fotografiando a los primeros ministros de Israel.
Pero ese día, estaba casualmente en NYC con su cámara preparada para realizar la fotografía perfecta.
Tomó esta fotografía con una cámara analógica Nikon, dotada de un teleobjetivo Nikon de 500 mm 'mirror lens' (reflex). Película Fuji 800. Disparó con el obturador a 1/2000 de segundo y apertura f/8, que era la apertura fija de ese modelo de teleobjetivo.
Y obtuvo la fotografía perfecta. Encuadre perfecto. Nitidez perfecta. El avión estaba ahí en el momento perfecto.
