Extortion at the highest level… those are the President's words today, and for once somebody in that building is saying it plainly instead of hiding behind a press release and a room full of lawyers. Let me explain what happened. Days after Democrats took the House and the Senate, Trump ordered the Justice Department to investigate Democrats threatening his officials and donors with impeachment, imprisonment and every other punishment they can dream up, and he put Senator Elissa Slotkin's name right on it. Slotkin went out in October and talked about going after the people who enabled Trump, and the message was aimed straight at young Republicans… the kids thinking about serving in this administration, the staffers, the people who are not famous and do not have a war chest for legal fees. Think about that for a second. A sitting United States Senator telling a 26 year old staffer that if you go to work for the President the American people elected, we will come for you when we get the gavel. What do you call that? Because I call it a threat, and I have watched exactly how this works… Jeffrey Clark, John Eastman, Kenneth Chesebro, the alternate electors, the lawyers, the volunteers, people bankrupted and dragged through courtrooms so the next person thinks twice before standing up. Scare the help, starve the bench of good people, and then go on TV and lecture everybody about norms. And yet the same media that spent four years cheering for lawfare is already crying that Trump is trying to criminalize oversight. Oversight? You mean telling young Americans their lives will be ruined for taking a job serving their country? Come on. It is a stacked deck, and they know it. Here is the reality. The Democrats just took Congress and the first thing out of their mouths is not lower gas prices or a secure border, it is subpoenas, impeachments, and threats meant to scare people out of public service. They are not serious people. They are not honorable people. They only know power and how to use it on the little guy who cannot fight back. So good. Investigate it. Every word, every threat, every staffer and donor who was told to back off or else, and make them answer under oath the same way they made everyone else answer. @realDonaldTrump do not let anyone at DOJ slow walk this one. They put a second Dan Sullivan on the ballot in Alaska… and now Governor Mike Dunleavy is saying out loud what half the country already knows. Dunleavy says the state and federal probes into the candidate they call "Decoy Dan" are looking at conspiracy, perjury, and anything else that could upend Alaska's Senate election, and he is asking the basic question… why was Daniel J. Sullivan Jr. on that ballot in the first place when he "didn't really have a campaign"? Democrat Mary Peltola is sitting less than 700 votes ahead of Republican Sen. Dan S. Sullivan, about 102,962 to 102,325 with roughly three quarters counted, while Fake Dan pulled around 3,600 votes… more than five times the current margin. How do you look at that math and still pretend this is just politics as usual? Here is the reality. You do not need boxes of ballots to tilt a race when you can put a man with the same name as the sitting senator through Alaska's top four primary and leave him sitting there as a decoy while the margin collapses under a few hundred votes. President Trump already said the Fake Dan Sullivan votes plus the other slug they stuck on the ballot should go to the REAL Dan Sullivan and the election is over. There is no other fair solution. Think about it… show me a serious campaign from Decoy Dan. Show me the rallies, the ads, the ground game. You cannot, because it was never a real candidacy. It was a name game, and the people of Alaska are supposed to shrug and wait for ranked choice on November 18 like that magically washes the confusion out of the count. I am angry, and most of you are not angry enough. Same last name, thin margin, late ballots still coming, ranked choice weeks out, and anyone who notices the decoy gets treated like the problem while the press sells you "safe and secure." Walk past the evidence. Trust the process. That has worked out so well for generational Americans. Make no mistake, if a decoy with your senator's name can sit on a ballot, pull five times the margin, and still get waved through as democracy, then every close race in this country is an open invitation to the same trick. How is this even a thing and why are we still dealing with it? Mike Dunleavy, keep those probes moving and put every finding in the sunlight before certification. Dan Sullivan, do not concede one confused ballot. @realDonaldTrump, do not let Alaska get stolen by a decoy with the same name while everyone waits for the next AP call. But God.
