I wrote this because loving a club doesn’t mean defending the indefensible. It means demanding better. Arsenal should do better and the fact that they won’t even try says everything.

Rianna Cleary, who was 18 at the time, gave birth to her daughter Aisha alone in a Surrey prison cell after officers ignored her calls for help.
Janey Starling from @we_level_up is calling for an end to the imprisonment of pregnant women. She tells Novara Media: “Pregnant women in prison are seven times more likely to have a stillbirth, twice as likely to give birth prematurely, and five times more likely to miss midwifery appointments due to short staffing inside prisons.”

Pregnant women in prison are seven times more likely to experience stillbirth, and at least two babies have died in prisons in recent years.
They cannot wait a day longer for the Sentencing Council’s guidelines that were due to come into effect today.

Good news - the Court has granted permission to appeal this ruling. I hope that the Court of Appeal will agree with me that a police officer found guilty of gross misconduct for a sexual purpose should not be allowed to keep his job. Appeal to be heard next week.
I'm trying to find the words. DCI Mason was found guilty of 8 counts of gross misconduct for sexually harassing me but kept his job.
I'm disappointed with Justice Swift's decision today that the disciplinary process was 'both reasonable and appropriate'. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lo…

This is absolutely tragic. A loving mum desperate to see her children #familycourt but locked up & totally neglected in prison where she should NEVER have been @we_level_up. Her only "crime" was being ill. as her daughter says. Our hearts go out to her family.

This mother was denied access to her children.
