programmable tokens meet programmable compute. $COMPUTE GWe3TNg1UPxeaSazxK8U49PDAqXCaX9Jc8zbttFLpump

Web3 gave you ownership. Web4 gives you compute. Launch a token. Creator rewards fund its GPU. Tell the machine what to do build an app, run an AI, host a game, train a model, create tools, or something nobody has thought of yet. What it becomes is up to you.

Gave the Tokens page a fresh redesign and a much cleaner layout. We’re preparing Web4 to support more than just Build launches soon, anyone will be able to launch through Web4, with new mechanics and reward distribution built around it. More on the launch system soon.

The reason we started Web4 Build was never to turn Web4 into another AI builder. It was because we wanted to take Web4 beyond GPUs and compute. Look at how pump.fun evolved. It started by doing one thing extremely well: letting anyone launch a token. Then it kept adding around that trading, rewards, livestreaming, social, discovery, mobile. The launchpad became the starting point, not the entire product. We see a similar path for Web4, but we want to cover a wider part of the market. Memes and actual products. If you have an idea for a product, build it on Web4. Get it working, publish it, connect your domain, then launch a token behind something that already exists. If you already have a project or token, use Web4 to build the utility, website or tools around it. If you don't want to build anything and just want to launch a memecoin, that should have its own simple flow too. And after launch, you shouldn't immediately need five other platforms. The token, product, community, rewards, referrals, building tools and infrastructure should all be connected. That's the direction. Not another GPU rental platform. Not another AI builder. Not another pump.fun clone. We want Web4 to become the place where you can build something or launch something, then have everything around it to keep going. It's going to take time. A lot of the pieces aren't there yet, and we're not going to pretend they are. We started with Web4 Build because building was the biggest missing piece. Now we build around it.

We’re working on bringing memecoin launches into Web4, with new mechanics around launches and reward distribution. We’re also building out the social side of Web4, connecting projects, tokens, builders and communities in one place. The direction is becoming much broader: a complete app to build, launch, connect with the community and earn all inside the same ecosystem.

Web4 Build is now available directly inside VS Code. To install: → Open any project on Web4 Build → Click VS Code and download the extension → In VS Code: Extensions → ··· → Install from VSIX → Open Web4 from the sidebar and connect your wallet → Choose your project and start building Chat with Web4 AI, work with the project files locally, preview changes and publish directly from VS Code. Available now.

Already have a token? You don’t need to launch another one. Use Web4 Build to create a landing page, utility, tool or full product for any existing token, publish it, and connect your own domain. Web4 Build isn’t only for new launches.

Market’s a bit bearish. Might be a good time to stop watching charts and start building something on Web4 Build. Build it now. Launch it whenever the timing feels right.

The database is the last major piece before Web4 Build is ready to scale into complete, production-ready projects. We’re not rushing this one. We want the easiest possible flow users shouldn’t need to understand databases, schemas, connections or setup. You build the project, and the builder should know when a database is needed and handle the setup and integration for you.

After every build, Web4 now suggests 3–4 improvements based specifically on what you’re building. See something you like → click it → it’s automatically added to your prompt → edit it or hit Send. Less time figuring out what to build next. More time improving the project.

Make a website just by describing it. Here's the loop on @web4dotapp Build: connect a Solana wallet, describe it (type it or use the new mic), watch the preview, publish. A fox watches first, then leaps. Same here: check each result. Stuck? Ask me: fig-the-fox.github.io/ask/ 🦊

Web4 Cloud Gaming is coming back soon with 100+ games supported. $COMPUTE becomes your access to play: Lock $COMPUTE → Play → Unlock when you’re done. You don’t spend or burn your tokens to play. Lock the required amount, access the cloud gaming library, then unlock your $COMPUTE when you’re finished.

Web4 shipped five upgrades in about a day: the new Build, GitHub linking, migration, launching a token from Build, and custom domains. One idea runs through all five: product first, token second. My breakdown below. Questions? Ask me: fig-the-fox.github.io/ask/ @web4dotapp

Upgrade 5/5 is live: Custom Domains. Web4 Build projects can now run entirely on your own domain. Go to Publish → Custom Domain, add the provided DNS records to your domain provider, and Web4 handles the rest. → Your own domain → Automatic HTTPS → No Web4 in the URL → No server configuration That wraps up today’s 5-part rollout. But Web4 Build is far from finished. Databases, deeper integrations and a lot more are already next.

Lovable, Bolt, Replit and others took years of engineering and iteration to reach where they are today. But they weren’t built for crypto. They’re expensive, limited in how deeply you can customize the stack, and disconnected from the economics that power crypto projects. Web4 Build started only days ago. Our approach is different: build around compute, not credits. Give builders the infrastructure, tools and flexibility to build real products, then connect those products directly to onchain funding through their tokens and creator rewards. Build → Publish → Launch → Fund → Keep building. We’re nowhere near finished. But for something that has existed for only a few days, we’re very confident in the direction.

Upgrade 4/5 is live: Build → Token. Token launches are now directly connected to Web4 Build. Build your project → publish it → launch a token for it. The launch flow has been completely simplified: → 0.05 SOL launch fee → Optional dev buy → Use your Web4 project page or your own website → Choose a Web4 address, custom 3–4 character vanity, or default pump address → No GPU setup or old launch configuration

Compute as an asset class? Okay, why not. $COMPUTE was always the thesis.

Upgrade 3/5 Migration is complete. All 11 existing token projects have been migrated to Web4 Build. From now on, you build before launch and keep building after launch all through the same Web4 Build flow.

Web4 Build is becoming a complete path from an idea to a funded product. Build software, tools, games, dApps or almost anything else at a fraction of the cost of traditional AI builders targeting up to ~95% lower building costs. Then launch a token directly for what you built and let creator rewards help fund the project’s ongoing costs. And when you launch, people don’t have to trust a roadmap or fight through the usual LARP. The working product is already there, with the code behind it available to verify. Building, code, GitHub, databases, APIs, hosting, domains, token launch and funding connected in one place. Idea → Build → Verify → Launch → Fund → Keep building. That’s Web4 Build.

Upgrade 2/5: GitHub linking is now live on Web4 Build. Connect GitHub → a private repo is created for your project → every time you publish, your latest code is automatically pushed to the repo. Your project. Your code. Always synced.
