📢 We have just created an account for #werf on #Bluesky. At some point, we'll completely move away from X/Twitter. Join us there: bsky.app/profile/werf.io
Excited to discover this video from Morris Musumi: “Werf: The Smarter Way to Build and Deploy Containerized Apps”! It provides a fantastic overview of #werf and explains when our tool can be helpful. Check it out and share with your #DevOps friends 🤗

Following the #CNCF recommendations, we have recently added a public ADOPTERS file to the #werf project. It lists some of the werf users around the world. Using it at your company? Please, spread the word about your case by opening a relevant PR! github.com/werf/werf/blob/ma…
trdl, which we use as a version manager for #werf, now lets you pin a specific werf version. Previously, you had to select a release group (e.g., v2) and release channel (e.g., stable or beta). Starting from trdl 0.13.0, you can do:
* trdl use werf v2.74.0
* trdl use werf '>=2'
P.S. The trdl v0.13.0 release related to this news is here on GitHub: github.com/werf/trdl/release…
🚨TypeScript as Helm templates alternative for Helm charts. With #werf v2.68.0+ and #Nelm v1.24.0+, you can use a general-purpose programming language, #TypeScript, as an alternative for templating in your #Helm charts. github.com/werf/werf/discuss…
#CloudLand2026 is about to happen in Heide Park Soltau (Germany). We’re happy to have #werf represented at this festival! Come see it in action and discuss your issues, needs, and ideas at #CNCF Land. It will be hosted as a special event there on May 20 from 15:00-17:45.
In #werf v2.65.0+, more detailed information about built container images and image digests is now available. In particular, you can pass the build info via export-values without forking the #Helm chart itself.

Attending #KubeCon Europe 2026 next week? Happy to announce that #werf will be there! Find our kiosk at the Project Pavilion on Wednesday, 14:00 - 17:00, kiosk number is P-6B 🙌
P.S. Find the complete Project Pavilion Directory here: events.linuxfoundation.org/k…
In #werf v2.62.0+ and #Nelm v1.22.0+, you can deploy your application to #Kubernetes using a pre-built plan, similarly to what #Terraform offers with its `plan` and `apply` commands.
Find more details in this GitHub discussion: github.com/werf/werf/discuss…
In #werf v2.60.0+ and #Nelm v1.21.0+, you can control the order in which #Kubernetes resources are deleted using a new annotation. Deletion order for interdependent resources will be determined automatically.

In #werf v2.60.0+ and #Nelm v1.21.0+, we've added support for JSON Schema-based extended local validation for both built-in and custom #Kubernetes resources. The new mechanism works right out of the box with no additional configuration. github.com/werf/werf/discuss…

Nelm, the #Helm alternative created in #werf to enhance your experience with deploying Helm charts in #Kubernetes, has just reached its first 1000 #GitHub stars 🎉 github.com/werf/nelm
Meanwhile, new exciting features are coming soon to Nelm — we'll keep you posted! 😉
We’d also like to present this overview (github.com/werf/nelm/discuss…) of the recent changes in #Nelm. Since Nelm underwent a major refactoring, added 60(!) new features, and resolved many annoying issues, we’d like to consider Nelm v1 stable and complete enough.
From now on, we’ll focus our efforts on Nelm v2 and the Nelm operator. At the same time, there’s an ongoing community effort to implement a Go templates alternative in Nelm using #TypeScript, following our formal proposal (github.com/werf/nelm/pull/49…). Everyone is welcome to join! 🙌
We've seen a lot of new features and fixes in #werf v2.47.1-v2.56.2. They include 4 new commands, 7 new annotations, 48 new CLI flags, and more.
This GitHub announcement summarizes recent changes: github.com/werf/werf/discuss…
A proposal for implementing an alternative to Go templates in #Nelm has been submitted! Interested in using a configuration language or a general programming language to write #Helm charts for your #Kubernetes clusters? Read the doc and join the discussion github.com/werf/nelm/blob/do…
The formal discussion of this proposal is ongoing on GitHub here: github.com/werf/nelm/pull/49…
