Symptoms of corn stunt are being observed this season in late planted corn in OK
Growers from all US can have corn leaf samples tested for FREE at my lab
Please contact me if you suspect corn stunt symptoms in your field
Corn stunt management requires an integrated approach combining cultural practices, host plant resistance, and management of the insect vector.
There is no curative treatment for infected plants. Management efforts should focus on suppressing corn leafhopper populations across the regional landscape, thereby preventing early infection of corn plants and reducing disease spread within and between fields.

ALT Illustration showing the primary components of the corn stunt disease cycle on corn. The corn leafhopper acquires the corn stunt pathogens (corn stunt spiroplasma (CSS), maize bushy stunt phytoplasma (MBSP), and maize rayado fino virus (MRFV)) from infected corn plant tissues. The pathogens (represented as the blue dots) undergo an incubation period during which they replicate within the insect, after which they are transmitted to healthy plants by the corn leafhopper's feeding. The ranges of days required for each stage (acquisition, incubation in the vector, transmission, and incubation in the plant) are indicated. The color, size, and shape of the organisms are stylized. What if you could live on one salary?
What if moms or dads could stay home and raise the kids while the other worked and not need dual incomes to live?
What if taxes weren’t fleecing us causing to need dual incomes?
What if everyone understood the government is the problem.

Hong Kong used to be one of the freest cities in the WORLD.
But in recent years, that has all changed.
The brutal Chinese government’s goal is to bring Hong Kong under its TOTAL control.
We must support Hongkongers and their struggle for freedom.
