1/7 RNP-018 is also live!
RNP-018 outlines the proposed emissions allocations for Year 2 of the Burn-Mint Equilibrium (BME), an economic mechanism passed in RNP-001.
This ensures the Render Network continues growing while supporting its community, artists, and node operators.

I'll be the first to admit, I initially faded $RNDR.
When I first found it in 2021, I simply saw another saturated degen Metaverse play.
But then in Jan 2023 @CryptoNagato started shilling Render to me.
I put some effort into researching this time.
My mind was fucking blown.
Honestly, I couldn't help but laugh as I had realized what I had faded, simply because of the name.
This wasn't some crypto project that was building a rendered Metaverse like I had assumed, far from it...
This was the technology that'd make the Metaverse, VR, AR and the future of graphics a reality!
But perhaps biggest of all, I didn't realize it was literally a network of GPUs and I didn't properly understand just how powerful GPUs really were.
Especially when we factor in all the new tech innovations we're seeing these days.
From AI to gaming & distributed computing, GPUs are at the heart of all of that.
But that wasn't even the craziest part.
As you guys know, to me the most important thing for a DLT projects long term success are their connections and industry recognition.
Some examples are like $QNT working with a financial leader in the BIS or $HBAR governing council.
This is far from an area Render's lacking in.
Initially my thought process was that it'd be another walled garden, after all what serious business was going to be building in rendering?
Well... The answer to that seemed to be a LOT of them.
Sure the concept of the Metaverse itself was & still arguably is a little premature.
But everything from VR, AR to distributed rendering was something that was HIGHLY in demand.
From big filmmakers like Paramount, HBO, to game developers like Bungie & so much more.
Theres even connections to the WEF & other leading industry consortiums!
At this point it struck me, calling Render Network just a "crypto project" would be an insult.
Under the leadership of Jules Urbach, the vision of Render had been building before 99% of crypto projects in the Metaverse or DePIN space were created!
As Render isn't something brand new Jules thought of to capture the crypto hype.
It was & continues to be an extension of the graphic rendering pioneer OTOY by Jules.
They're one of the few if not the only DLT project we've seen get the nod of approval from Microsoft, Apple, NVIDIA & Google.
That's the 4 largest. In that exact order.
Few companies have that level of stature, let alone something within the crypto space.
Everyday I'm thankful Nagato woke me up to Render, so I wouldn't miss one of the hottest trends of this cycle,
But I'm even more grateful that he opened my eyes up to something so massive building in this space.
Morale of story, don't judge a book by it's cover.
I no longer see Render as simply a crypto project,
It's the foundation for our future of evolved computer graphics utilizing distributed technology.
