"Green capitalism" means turning the global South into a giant sacrifice zone so rich folks in the US and Europe can drive electric SUVs.

Environmentalism without class struggle is using paper straws while the rich take 9 minute flights in their private jets.

Throughout the pandemic, our kids have given up a lot to keep their families, schools and communities safe from coronavirus. Now, it’s their turn. Children are now eligible for vaccination. To find out where and how to book visit coronavirus.vic.gov.au

Kudos to @PatsKarvelas for grilling @MichaelSukkarMP on homelessness investments. Let’s having more of this and hold our politicians accountable. Where is this during @GladysB’s presser?!
Remember "Behind The News"? I wish we had a version of BTN for adults. MediaWatch is great but a little too smug, Insiders has discussion but just doesn't hit it(And Q&A is just a joke). We need a smart explainer show which goes behind the scenes of a range of social issues

Replying to @lmdo
@lmdo is asking some big questions to #2021RDIconference attendees - if you are serving a community you are not a part of - "When was the last time you directly spoke with a beneficiary or stakeholder with your work?" #internationaldevelopment #climatechange /1

A little controversial! As comms, I sit at the intersection of UX, UI, HCD, graphic design, co-design, data visualist (every other jargon word) so this is a bit tongue in cheek - ow.ly/rx4u50BQPkK
Australia has an enormous opportunity to be a world leader in renewable energy & manufacturing. We have the resources and tech to get us there. The Federal Gov must focus on clean energy solutions that work, not supporting the failing fossil fuel industry. #Budget2020 #Auspol

There is zero money in #Budget2020 to help women made redundant due to #COVID19 find work right now. Women have carried the biggest burden and made the largest sacrifices this year and the Morrison Government has yet again forgotten them.

Leigh Sales approach to the debt and deficit question is a masterclass – holding the government to account for their hypocrisy, without accepting the frame herself. #auspol #budget2020

So many of the government's measures are about privatising the recovery. Letting people take on bigger and more risky mortgages, dip into their superannuation, relaxed lending regulations – they want people to run bigger deficits, so that they don't have to. #auspol #budget2020
